At sunshine ~
Y/N sat in her small office at the Sunshine Orphanage, surrounded by files and paperwork. Outside her door, the sounds of children playing echoed through the hallways, a comforting background to her work. Mrs. Park, the head caretaker, was seated nearby, chatting with Iseul about the upcoming weekend activities for the children.
Suddenly, the office door burst open, and a group of officials entered, their expressions serious and determined. Y/N looked up, surprised by their abrupt entrance.
**Official 1:** (clearing his throat) "Excuse us, Ms. Y/N. We need to speak with you urgently."
**Y/N:** (frowning) "What's going on? We're in the middle of our daily routines here."
**Official 2:** "I'm sorry, but we've been instructed to inform you that this property has been purchased, and plans to build a complex will commence in one week. You'll need to clear out everything by then."
**Y/N:** (shocked) "What? Who authorized this sudden change?"
**Official 3:** "It's Jeon Industries, specifically Mr. Jeon Jungkook."
Y/N's heart sank, disbelief written on her face. "This orphanage is government property, run by the Lee family. You can't just come in here and—"
**Official 1:** (firmly) "Ms. Y/N, we understand your concern, but our orders are clear. We are here to inform you of the decision."
**Y/N:** (clenching her fists) "This is unacceptable! How can you do this without any consideration for the children's welfare? We have legal rights!"
**Official 2:** "Our duty is to follow the instructions given to us. If you have any questions or need further information, you can contact our office."
Y/N felt a mix of anger and frustration welling up inside her. She glanced at Mrs. Park and Iseul, both equally shocked by the news.
**Iseul:** (softly) "What are we going to do, Y/N?"
Y/N took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "We'll figure something out, Iseul. We have to."
Mrs. Park nodded in agreement, her expression grim as they all processed the sudden upheaval that threatened the stability of their beloved orphanage.
AT JEON INDUSTRIES
Author's pov
The next day, Y/N arrived at Jeon Industries with a heavy heart and simmering anger. She stood resolutely outside the imposing building, her mind racing with thoughts of how to approach Jungkook about the sudden threat to the orphanage.
Entering the sleek lobby, Y/N approached the receptionist, who greeted her with polite professionalism. "Excuse me, I need to see Mr. Jeon Jungkook," Y/N stated firmly, trying to keep her frustration in check.
The receptionist glanced at her appointment book apologetically. "I'm sorry, Miss Y/N, but Mr. Jeon is in a meeting right now. You'll need an appointment to see him."
Desperation flickered in Y/N's eyes. "Please, this is urgent. It's about the Sunshine Orphanage. I must speak with him," she pleaded, her voice tinged with urgency.
After a brief hesitation, the receptionist sighed and picked up the phone to call Mr. Hwang, Jungkook's secretary. A few minutes passed before she nodded and gestured for Y/N to follow her.
Hwan, noticing Y/N's presence, cleared his throat to get Jungkook's attention. "Sir, Miss Y/N is here to see you."
