Chapter 2: The Confrontation

I go in rushing to see if she is okay, I slide the door open and see her standing, I say "You should rest" and she stares at me. She asks me "Who are you?" I said let's talk about it calmly, I asked her what's your name? Julia... Julia Parker. Ah, I see a nice name! What about you? Marco Rossi, I said. So "How did you have a gun?" by judging your character you can not be a police officer and no one in the city can have guns this easily! You can not be a mafia or something like that (sarcastic laugh). I stare at her! I say to be honest yes I am a mafia and the leader as well... "EXCUSE ME" says Julia in anger! This is no time for your jokes mister! I am serious says Marco... After a moment of silence, I asked Julia what do you do? I am a Businesswoman and the youngest as well! Someone enters the room it's the nurse she says I can get discharged and the bill needs to be paid and then Marco says "How much?" I stare at him and say no offense but I can pay it myself Thanks! I get changed pack my things and walk out of the room I see Marco waiting near the reception. He looked at me and said "Let's go I will drop you home" I said no thank you! But he didn't listen instead he took my hand and took me near the car! I don't know I am blushing! Why why stop it, it's nothing! I control myself and stop smiling! Now that I look at him, he is handsome... His eyes are flattering and it just makes me lost! I shake my head and say control Julia control. And he says What? Did you say something? Umm, nothing... There's my car said, Marco... What the hell! What? He... he opened the door for me! Can I stop blushing now? Anyway, I got into the car.

We sat all in silence but then Marco got a call from his assistant he just said "Do it, I will be there" I got suspicious and asked him are you gonna kill someone? He gave me a smirk and said no why would I kill anyone? Isn't it what mafias do? asked Julia. He smiled and said hmm I am different from other mafias you know! I smiled at him and just then "Ok we are here" said Marco. I was just staring at him and then he unbuckled his seatbelt leaned forward to me and said "Hey I know I am handsome" and he smirked! I was startled and I said who says you're handsome? And he leaned more forward and whispered in my ear "Your eyes do". I pushed him away and got out of the car! He shouted wait! I didn't reply, he came out of the car and took my hand and I stopped! My heart was pounding all the time! I turned around and saw him... He looked at me and said, "Julia, can you give me your number?", I was confused, I was shocked but then Marco said it's okay if you don't want to give it to me. He started walking towards the car and I called out his name out loud "Marco wait" here just take it! He gave me a soft smile, and took my number! He went towards the car and I turned around and started walking towards the entrance cause my face was red as a tomato! He drove the car and left!

Let's just end this said Marco, Ben said, oh really what does it have to do with you? You are a mafia as well and you should know that this is what mafias do! No, you are causing trouble to the people who have no connection with the mafia world! I can end you right now, do you understand that? "You're causing too much trouble, Ben," Marco said firmly, arms folded. Ben shrugged, a cocky grin on his face. "Just doing what needs to be done," he replied, tossing his cigarette aside. Ben signals his men! His men come forward and Marco gives them a smirk and signals them to come and fight... Marco punches a man's face in one go and all the other men get scared after seeing his fierce eyes and sarcastic smile. Then all of them start attacking him at the same time but he starts punching, kicking, and throwing the men across the floor... In the end, everyone was out of breath and couldn't move their body! Ben says "Get up you freaks, you lost with one man," Marco says, exactly one powerful man! Just shut up okay Ben says, I am not going back from this project! And I will make sure that you are punished for it says Marco.

It was a tough day said Josh (Marco's assistant) Yeah it was I am gonna take some rest now I am tired... I closed my eyes and I saw Julia and the scenarios I had with her today... I opened my phone and saved Julia's number...

Ah finally done with skincare says Julia to herself... She takes out her phone to see emails from the office but her phone chimes she looks at it and there's a message saying "Hey"... I knew it was him, Marco! I blushed and replied "Hi"... He asked me what I was doing! I said I was preparing to sleep and what about you? Marco replied I am on my way home, I will take a shower and sleep... Marco messaged me saying: Okay so I won't disturb you, Take care and Sleep well, Good night! "HOW DO I REPLY TO THIS?" WHAT... I calmed myself down and replied saying "You too take care and Good night, bye"

So what will happen next? Will they meet? Will this be the start of their relationship?
