"I can't believe they said yes to coming to the party tonight!" Rachel yelled to Kurt from her room as she put her shoes on.

"It's a party, why wouldn't they want to come?" Kurt yelled back from their kitchen, sipping his tea.

"I don't know I'm just really excited that they said yes," Rachel said as she walked out of her room towards Kurt.

"Well since you're finally done, for the fourth time, let's leave to pick them up and get to the party!" Kurt replied with a little bit of sarcasm mixed with excitement as he put his cup in the sink and hurried to the door. "Okay, okay let's go," Rachel returned, giggling at the annoyance in his voice, and followed Kurt to the door.

As Kurt and Rachel drove to Quinn's, Rachel had a flashback to when they all talked about the party at a small café down the street from Kurt and Rachel's loft. They sat in a booth and decided Kurt and Rachel would pick them up and drive to the party. Rachel couldn't really remember the rest because of one person, Quinn Fabray. She couldn't stop glancing over at Quinn, who sat next to her, while Kurt sat across and Santana sat diagonally from her. Quinn would sometimes catch her looking and smile lightly towards her, making Rachel's heart race faster than it already was.

"Rachel?" Kurt questioned as they pulled up to Quinn's house. "Y-yeah sorry what?" Rachel replied hoping he won't ask what she was thinking. "Are you gonna go get them?" Kurt asked looking at his brunette friend. "Of course, I'll be right back!" Rachel said as she got out of the car, and hurried to the front door.

She rang the doorbell then knocked twice, unsure if the doorbell even worked. She heard muffled voices then the sound of the door being unlocked and opened. "Hey, Rachel!" The blonde said as she moved aside to let her in. Rachel froze for a couple of seconds before she walked through the door, paralyzed with how incredible Quinn looks. "Hey, Quinn! Wow, you look amazing," Rachel said shyly, looking to the floor. "Thanks, Rachel you do too!" Quinn replies with a big smile and opens her arms for a hug. Rachel got a little too excited as she hugged Quinn and started knocking her over. As Quinn was falling Rachel quickly got her footing back and held Quinn by her waist and ended up pulling her really close to her face. She was looking at Quinn and could smell her again, the light smell of lavender and vanilla and almost lost it. Rachel looked into Quinn's eyes then at her lips and back again. She started leaning but she resisted the urge and pulled Quinn back to her feet, still holding onto her waist. "Sorry, sorry. I wasn't trying to knock you over. I just, uh, I-I'm sorry." Rachel said as she moved her hands back to herself, sighing as she looked towards the ground.

She suddenly felt a soft and gentle hand on her cheek pulling her face up. When she looked up, Quinn's face was right in front of her's and she could smell her minty breath. Rachel froze and swallowed before the blonde put her arms around her neck and pulled her into a gentle hug. Rachel put her arms around Quinn's waist and enjoyed how close their bodies were. "It's okay. I'm just glad you caught me," Quinn whispered in her ear, sending shivers down her spine. "Anytime," She replied smiling into Quinn's lightly curled hair. Quinn pulled away and went towards the hallway. What's wrong with me? Why do I get so nervous around her? And why did I think about kissing her? Rachel thought to herself.

"Santana come on they're already here!" Quinn yelled down the hallway. As Quinn was yelling down the hallway Rachel was staring at her, appreciating how her skinny jeans hugged her legs and made her butt look remarkable. Rachel didn't look away fast enough before Quinn turned around and caught her staring. Oh no, she totally saw me. Why was I staring at her? She probably thinks I'm a creep now. What if-. Rachel's thoughts were disrupted by Quinn's voice. "Like what you see?" Quinn said with a small giggle and a smirk. "I-I uhh I." Rachel began before she was cut off by Santana walking in. "Okay, guys I'm ready to go." She said with a smile. Rachel's face was red as a tomato as she turned around leading the two girls to the car.

"Hey, Quinn. Hey, Santana." Kurt said smiling as they got into the back seat. "Hey, Kurt." They reply in unison. "Rachel, your face is so red I can see it in the dark. What's wrong?" He asked raising his eyebrow. Before she could even make a sound, Quinn started giggling which lead to a hysterical laughter within seconds. She turned around at Quinn and gave her a helpless look, which Quinn didn't seem to notice, then turned back to Kurt and sighed. "Just drive. I want to get to this party already. You know. To party?" She said the last part more as a question and mentally slapped herself for making the situation even more awkward. "I'm with Berry on this one. I wants to get my drink on!" She yelled throwing her hands up, shaking them. "Although I do want to know why your face is red and why Quinn was laughing about it," She says curiously leaning in, hoping the smaller brunette would give her an answer. Rachel gave her a look asking her to stop asking questions and the Latina understood and nodded. "Are you going to drive Kurt, or should I jump up there?" Santana asked with sass in her voice. Kurt rolled his eyes as he returned his attention to the road and started driving to the party.

AN- Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'm hoping it was better than the first chapter. I know it's a little short but it was more of a filler chapter to get ready for the party with some one-on-one Faberry. ;) I will be putting up the actual party scene in the next chapter. Please keep reading and suggest to your friends! Thank you so much for reading! :) -C

New A/N- So I didn't change much here mostly because of how it's a filler chapter but I did edit it to make it sound better and fix mistakes. Thanks again for reading. -C :)
