"Hyungs said not to fight... His bullying was less painful than hyung's punishment." said Jungkook looking down, he was really overwhelmed. Slowly slowly the fear of his hyungs was fading away, and what Kai did to him was sinking in.
Upon hearing this, everyone felt a deep sense of guilt. They realized they had failed as brothers. They were so focused on Taehyung’s safety and health that they had completely forgotten about Jungkook. The thought of him suffering alone broke their hearts. If only they had paid more attention to him, maybe he wouldn't have been bullied. They were overwhelmed with regret and sorrow, wishing they could go back and be there for him when he needed them the most.
"How... how could you think like that? We told you not to fight, but..." Jin's voice trailed off. He struggled to find the right words. His face was red with anger, but it wasn't directed at Jungkook. He was furious with himself for making his brother feel this way.
Seeing Jin boiling with anger, Jungkook felt a surge of fear and said, "Are you mad at me, hyung? I'm sorry, please forgive me." He thought Jin was furious with him and feared he was about to be punished.
"Why are you apologising jungkook... It's not your fault.. jin hyung is not mad at you" said yoongi. Yoongi then held jin's hand and said "calm down hyung you are scaring him"
Jin realized that his anger was scaring Jungkook. Gently, he pulled Jungkook onto his lap and said, "I'm not mad at you, baby... I'm mad at myself. We told you not to fight without reason, but I should have made it clear that you should fight when it's necessary."
Jungkook kept his gaze down the whole time, too overwhelmed to speak. The memory of what kai did was trying to do with him left him traumatised . Suddenly, he felt himself slipping from Jin's lap, and his head struck the corner of the table with a painful thud. Stunned and shocked he looked up and saw Taehyung sitting on Jin's lap. He realized that Taehyung had pushed him off.
"He is my hyung stay away from him" said tae, glaring at jungkook. Everyone was stunned because of Tae's behavior. Jungkook stared at jin and tae for a moment and ran to his room. In their anger, they didn't notice Jungkook running to his room.
"Taehyung, what's this behavior, huh? Why did you push him?" Yoongi said angrily. Tae hugged Jin tightly and replied, "Jin hyung promised me he'd stay with me until I woke up, but when I did, he wasn't there. Instead of being with me, he was here sitting with Jungkook on his lap," his voice tinged with frustration.
Jin sighed knowing tae was behaving like this because of his vaccine. He looked into tae's eyes and said "I know I promised to stay with you but try to understand tae right now jungkook need us more than you"
"No no no I don't want to hear anything...just stay with me" said tae while throwing tantrums. Yoongi was loosing his patience. He was about to burst out on tae but jin held his to control his anger and said to tae in a stern "Tae stop it! Jungkook is not well He needs us... do you want jungkook to suffer alone?"
Jin somehow made him understand and send him to his room with hobi and everyone else went to jungkook's room.
They found Jungkook's room empty and decided to check the washroom. As soon as they opened the door, their hearts shattered into a million pieces. Jungkook stood before the mirror without his shirt, examining old and new scars. They couldn't imagine the pain Jungkook must have endured.
They rushed to his side, pulling him gently out of the washroom. Jin guided him to sit on the bed and said with a trembling voice, "Y-you should have told us about this... I... I'll apply medicine to your wounds." His voice choked with emotion as he struggled to maintain composure.
With slow and gentle hands, Jin began applying medicine to Jungkook's body, who winced in pain with each touch. Witnessing Jungkook's pain brought tears to everyone's eyes. They fought hard to hold back their emotions, but their tears threatened to spill over. The anger towards Kai intensified with each passing moment, fueled by the sight of Jungkook's suffering.
"Ahh, hyung," Jungkook hissed in pain, unable to contain himself. Yoongi couldn't bear to see Jungkook suffer any longer. He punched the wall with force and declared, "I will kill that motherfucker." Storming off in anger, Jungkook trembled with fear at Yoongi's outburst. Namjoon quickly reassured him, saying, "Don't worry, Jungkook. Hyungs are here for you. Everything will be okay."
Jin finished applying the medicine and texted Yoongi, instructing him not to kill kai or take any action against him but to bring him to their basement. After about 20 minutes, Yoongi returned to the mansion with Kai tied up in the basement.
Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi went down to the basement and smirked when they saw Kai tied up and trying to escape. "Jungkook, come here," Jin called out, and Jungkook entered slowly, shocked to find Kai there.
"He's yours now, Jungkook... do whatever you want with him," Yoongi added, a smirk playing on his lips as he gave Jungkook permission to exact his revenge.
At first Jungkook was gripped by fear as memories of Kai trying to harass him flooded his mind. He hesitated for a moment, but then he drew a deep, shaky breath and launched himself at Kai. Each punch he landed carried the weight of every hurtful moment he had endured.
The first punch was hesitant, but as Jungkook's adrenaline rushed, he started throwing a lot of kicks and punches. The fear that had stopped him disappeared in a flood of strong feelings—anger, frustration and deep hurt.
Kai was on the verge of passing out, blood seeping from every part of his body. Jungkook, being a mafia trainee, delivered powerful punches that were far from ordinary. He was experiencing the consequences of his own actions, which were worse than anything he had done. He regretted messing with the Kim brothers.
Watching Jungkook exact his revenge and seeing Kai almost unconscious, Jungkook's hyungs felt a deep sense of satisfaction. They knew being bullied and almost harassed was very traumatic, but seeing Jungkook fight so courageously made them proud of him.
Jungkook didn't stop until his arms ached and his knuckles throbbed with pain. Standing over Kai, who was now quiet and defeated, Jungkook finally felt a sense of relief, though tears streamed down his cheeks. Seeing him in tears, his hyungs gathered around with worried expressions.
"Jungkook, are you okay? Please stop now, your hands are getting hurt," Jin said, his voice filled with concern.
"I'm fine, hyung," Jungkook replied, looking at Kai one last time. "More than fine." He felt a deep sense of satisfaction, finally finding closure after everything that had happened.
