Ishan was in their room lying down when he heard Shubman's voice from the main gate.

Instantly, he sprang up and ran downstairs, the sound of his anklets echoing through the house—a sound Shubman loved most.

He saw Ishan running downstairs.

"Jaan, aaram se," Shubman said, wrapping his arms around Ishan's waist as he latched onto him like a koala.

"Aap aa gaye," Ishan said, nuzzling his face into Shubman's neck.

"Hmm, ab hame chhodoge? Sab dekh rahe hain," Shubman whispered, glancing at the workers who were looking down.

Ishan reluctantly released him and shyly looked down.

"Ham haath muh dhoke aate hain," Shubman said and went upstairs.

Ishan cleared his throat and addressed the workers, "Aap log jaake khana lagaiye, ham aate hain."

"Ji, chote Babu," the workers responded and left.

Ishan composed himself and went to the kitchen to help.

After 15 minutes, Shubman came downstairs, and they ate their lunch together.

After lunch, they cuddled in their room, Shubman's face buried in Ishan's neck while his right hand caressed Ishan's waist through his kurta.

"Shayad barish hogi," Ishan said, looking out at the balcony door.

"Hmm, acha hai," Shubman murmured, nuzzling deeper into Ishan's neck.

"Aaj jyada kam kar liya?" Ishan asked, caressing Shubman's hair.

"Bacchon ne dimag kharab kar diya," Shubman replied, making Ishan giggle.

Shubman was captivated by the sound and pecked Ishan's cheeks, making him shy.

"Aapse kuch puchna hai," Ishan said.

"Pucho," Shubman said, resting his head on his hands while still caressing Ishan's waist.

"Ham jab gaon gaye the yahan aane se pehle," Ishan began.

"Hmm," Shubman said, now putting his hand inside Ishan's kurta, making Ishan shudder.

"Toh hamari shaadi ke din na ek aur shaadi hui thi. Maa ne hame bataya ki wo jiski shaadi hui na wo pet se hai," Ishan said, and Shubman's hands stopped, knowing where this was going.

Ishan's curiosity about how someone gets pregnant was evident, and Shubman had to explain it to him.

Despite the age difference, Shubman always treated Ishan like a kid—a hyper and curious kid who always asked about his surroundings or if he wanted to know something interesting.

"Ruk kyun gaye aap? Kijiye na, acha lag raha hai," Ishan said, and Shubman resumed caressing his stomach.

"Hmm, toh kya hua?" Shubman asked.

"Toh wo kaise itni jaldi pet se ho gaye aur ham nahi? Uske liye kuch karna padta hai?" Ishan asked innocently, making Shubman instantly coo at him.

"Haan jaanu, uske liye karna padta hai," Shubman said, not wanting to lie to Ishan because one day he would find out.

"Kya karna padta hai?" Ishan asked again.

"Bahut kuch, jo ham tumhe baad me batayenge," Shubman said.

"Nahi, hame abhi jaan na hai ki pet se kaise hote hai," Ishan said, throwing a tantrum.

"Jaanu, tum kitne saal ke ho?" Shubman asked.

"Ham 21 ke," Ishan replied.

"Haan, toh abhi tumhe koi pet se nahi hona hai na, toh fir kyun jaan na hai?" Shubman said.

"Phir bhi," Ishan pouted.

"Ham bata denge tumhe, thik hai, par abhi nahi. Par ek baat kahein? Jab do logon ke beech mein pyaar hota hai na, tab ye hota hai," Shubman explained.

"Aap bhi hamse pyar karte ho aur ham bhi aapse pyar karte hai, toh fir ham pet se kyun nahi huye?" Ishan asked.

"Hmm...pyaar toh karte hain, par zaroori thodi hai hamesha us pyaar ko dikhana. Pyaar sirf shareer ka milna nahi hota jaan, do atmaon ka milan hota hai aur jab do atmaein ek hain toh phir shareer ek karne ki kya zaroorat," Shubman said.

"Toh phir aaj jo aapne kiya aur us din bhi, wo kya tha?" Ishan asked innocently.

"Wo bhi pyaar tha. Jab ham hamare pyaar ko shabdon se bayaan nahi kar paate, tab use ham apne harkaton se dikhane ki koshish karte hain," Shubman said, caressing Ishan's stomach.

"Hmm...hame bhi aapko hamara pyaar dikhana hai. Aapko bhi toh pata hona chahiye na ki ham aapse bahut prem karte hain," Ishan said shyly.

This made Shubman's heart flutter.

Ishan's childlike innocence was something Shubman adored.

He knew Ishan's parents had always kept him away from bad influences, making him naive for this world.

Shubman was willing to go to any extent for Ishan.

"Kya soch rahe hain aap?" Ishan asked.

Shubman looked into Ishan's eyes and said, "Soch raha hoon ki tum kitne masoom ho. Aur kitna khushnaseeb hoon main jo tumhare saath hoon."

Ishan blushed deeply, feeling the sincerity in Shubman's words.

He leaned in and kissed Shubman softly, letting their love speak through their actions.

As the rain began to fall outside, they held each other close, basking in the warmth of their shared affection.

As they were cuddling, Shubman gently asked, "Ishan, tum bade hoke kya banna chahte the?"

Ishan, nestled comfortably in Shubman's embrace, looked up with a shy smile. "Ham chitrakar banna chahte hain," he replied softly.

Shubman’s eyes lit up with surprise and admiration. "Chitrakar? Waah, ye to bahut accha hai! Tumhe chitrakari kab se pasand hai?"

"Jab se chhote the, tab se," Ishan said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Gaon me jab bhi waqt milta tha, ham rang-birange rangon se tasveerein banate rehte the. Maa kehti thi, hamare hatho me kala hai."

Shubman felt a surge of pride and affection.

He caressed Ishan's cheek lovingly.

"Mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum itne hoshiyar ho. Tumne apni koi chitra dikhai kyun nahi kabhi?"

Ishan blushed. "Waqt hi nahi mila. Shaadi ke baad sab kuch itna jaldi jaldi hua, phir yahan aa gaye. Par abhi bhi man karta hai kabhi kabhi."

Shubman pulled him closer, planting a gentle kiss on his forehead. "Toh phir kyun na tum apne sapne ko sach karo? Tumhe jo bhi chahiye, bas mujhe batana."

"Par...ghar ka kaam... sab kuch kaise hoga?" Ishan asked hesitantly.

"Sab kuch hoga," Shubman assured him. "Main hoon na. Tum bas apne sapne pe dhyan do. Main tumhare saath hoon."

Ishan's eyes filled with tears of joy. "Sach mein? Aap hamara itna saath denge?"

"Of course, jaanu. Tumhara sapna mera sapna hai. Aur main chahta hoon ki tum apni khushiyon ko poora karo."

Moved by Shubman's words, Ishan hugged him tightly. "Aap sach mein bahut ache hain."

Shubman chuckled softly, kissing Ishan's hair. "Aur tum mere liye sab kuch ho. Tumhe khush dekhna hi meri khushi hai."

The room was filled with warmth and love as they held each other, dreaming of a beautiful future where Ishan's paintings adorned their home and brought color to their lives.
