At the end of November, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff played against each other, as Ravenclaw ended up winning.

Before they knew it, it was December and it got colder. Inside the castle, there was a buzz of Christmas in the air. Professor Flitwick, the Charms teacher, had already decorated his classroom with shimmering lights that turned out to be real, fluttering fairies. The students were all happily discussing their plans for the holidays.

On the 12th of December at the end of classes, everyone ate their dinner before Lorenzo started talking to Charlie, leading him far away from the common room while the others immediately went up to the common room to start decorating.

Ethan and Liam got stuck with hanging up the banner, as Percy, Delilah, and George blew up the balloons while the others prepared the food and drink table, and all the other stuff.

"Lemonade and cake incoming." said Katherine, entering the common room with Tonks.

Katherine was carrying the glass dispenser filled with lemonade while Tonks was carrying a cake as they both placed it down on the table.

The cake had three layers and every layer had white buttercream on it. On the top was a '18' candle, along with a fake mini statue of a dragon.

The bottom layer had Charlie his name on it, and the cake was also decorated with a bunch of red roses.

"Aurora and Lily their mother, the amazing cake decorater, once again made an amazing cake." said Andrew.

"I can't even make cookies without almost burning the house down." said Tonks.

They continued decorating, eventually the people who hadn't gotten dressed yet going to get dressed as Lyra put on a red dress before going back down to the common room.

Lorenzo and Charlie entered a few minutes later, as Fred and George let the confetti canons go off, which ended up with Charlie getting confetti in his hair.

Since Charlie already had confetti in his hair, Tonks threw glitter over him which was the perfect moment for Rachel to take a picture of Charlie.

Charlie complained about the confetti and glitter being in his hair for two minutes, before the party started.

People were dancing and talking, as Lyra, Tonks, and Charlie were standing on top of the couch.

"We took a chance, like we were dancing our last dance."

Lyra, Tonks, and Charlie jumped off the couch, dancing around while singing along to the song.

"I can still recall our last summer."

At that moment, Lorenzo threw a bucket of water over Delilah, completely soaking her.

"Just getting payback because you did the same to me last summer." said Lorenzo with a smirk.

Delilah chuckled, not even mad that she was completely soaked as she just pulled him with her to dance.

The party continued and ended at exactly midnight, as Tonks and Katherine had to sneak out of the common room to get back to their common rooms

The following weekend it was Hogsmeade weekend, as Lyra, Tonks, and Charlie immediately went to Honeydukes.

There were shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable. Creamy chunks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconut ice, fat, honey-colored toffees; hundreds of different kinds of
chocolate in neat rows; there was a large barrel of Every Flavor Beans, and another of Fizzing Whizbees, levitating sherbert balls; along yet another wall were "Special Effects" - sweets: Droobles Best Blowing Gum (which filled a room with bluebell-colored bubbles that refused to pop for days), the strange, splintery Toothflossing Stringmints, tiny black Pepper Imps ("breathe fire for your friends!"), Ice Mice ("hear your teeth chatter and squeak!"), peppermint creams shaped like toads ("hop realistically in the stomach!"), fragile sugar-spun quills, and exploding bonbons.
