Never had Lyra expected the year to go by this fast, but now they were already halfway through March.

None of the seventh years were prepared for the day they would have to say goodbye. They all knew they would see each other again, they just weren't ready to not see each other every single day.

The seventh years were making the best of these last months. For a few nights, they had slept on the Quidditch pitch together, and they made sure to play games with each other every now and then.

On the 15th of March, the Gryffindors had a party for Oliver and to no one's suprise, the cake was Quiffitch themed.

Days seemed to pass by quicker than usual, and at the end of March, McGonagall called all the seventh years into the study hall.

"As the year is coming to an end, Dumbledore has decided to do a muggle tradition for graduating students called Prom, but only because you guys begged for it." said Professor McGonagall.

"It will take place May 26th and yes that is before your N.E.W.T.s because if we do it after the exams, you guys will not be able to focus during your exams. If you don't have a dress or suit, you guys will be allowed to go to Hogsmeade the weekend before the dance to go shopping. Now off to bed."

The seventh years got up and left the study hall, all talking excitedly about the dance that would be in May, but they still had to survive April.

-

April was off to a great start, the first of the month they had a party for the twins and the first weekend of the month, the seventh years had put up a slip and slide on the Quidditch pitch along with a pool and table filled with food and drinks so they could enjoy the weekend.

The classes the past few days had been the same as always, but the seventh years had decided they deserved a little fun after surviving another week.

Lyra finished her sandwhich, before immediately jumping in the pool with Katherine.

"This is the best day ever." said Elijah, jumping in the pool with Robert and Stephen.

"Where did you two find a pool and slip and slide?" asked Tessa, eating a sandwich while looking at Jake and Ryan.

"A place." said Jake, as Tessa rolled her eyes.

Lyra went underwater, putting her hands on the bottom of the pool and casually doing a handstand before swimming up again.

"I wanna try that." said Robert.

Robert tried to do a handstand underwater but ended up failing horribly as Lyra chuckled.

"I can do a handstand underwater, just watch." said Stephen.

Stephen went underwater and managed to actually do a handstand before swimming back up.

"Impressive." said Katherine.

Pietro jumped into the water, splashing Lyra and Katherine in the process. Katherine grabbed one of the water guns, filling it up before spraying it at Pietro.

The two of them had a water gun fight and a few moments later, Anna and Edward joined the water gun fight. Lyra got out of the pool, hugging Tonks from behind.

"Never thought I would be spending the first weekend of April playing with water." said Charlie, throwing a water balloon at Liam.

"Tomorrow it will probably be raining." said Ethan, drinking lemonade.

The water balloon fight between Charlie and Liam continued, and eventually one of the balloons hit Rachel.

Rachel grabbed a water balloon, before throwing it at Liam and hitting him on the shoulder. Liam threw one back at Rachel, and the two of them started a water balloon fight.

The rest of the afternoon, the seventh years spent time outside and eventually cleaned everything before going back to the castle and to their own common rooms.

After changing into proper clothes, the seventh year Gryffindors went down to the Great Hall and sat down. Lyra put some chicken, fries, and ketchup on her plate as she began eating.

"Where were you guys? I was trying to find you guys for like an hour!" said Ezekiel, sitting down with Fred, George, and Lee.

"We were chilling in our dorm, and the boys were playing a mini game of Quidditch." said Rachel.

"I knew we forgot to check certain places." said Lee, eating some fries.

"You wouldn't have been able to go up to the stairs to the girl's dormitory anyway because they turn into a slide." said Aurora.

"How does Charlie get up those stairs? I know he goes up them every now and then!" said George.

"That's a secret I'll never tell." said Charlie with a smirk.

When dinner ended, they went up to the common room and up to their dorms and to sleep and Ethan predicted the weather, because the next day it was indeed raining.

After spending a morning playing games in the Gryffindor common room, they went to lunch before going back to the common room.

They played a bunch of other games in the afternoon and before they knew it, it was time for dinner. After dinner, Lyra and Tonks snuck off and went outside to the lake.

"Even though we don't have music, we can still dance." said Tonks, extending her hand.

Lyra took Tonks her hand, and they began dancing around in the rain.

Nothing else mattered in that moment, it was just the two of them. The rain poured down, drenching them completely but it didn't bother them as they continued dancing.

Tonks spun Lyra around, before pulling her into a kiss as Lyra immediately kissed back, and after a few moments they pulled away to start dancing again.

"I love you." said Tonks.

"I love you more." said Lyra.

Lyra pulled Tonks in for a kiss and pulled away again after a few moments to continue dancing.

Tonks suddenly fell into the lake, pulling Lyra in the lake with her. The two of them stared at each other as they were in the lake, before they burst into laughter.

Lyra got out of the lake, pulling Tonks out with her before the two of them ran up to the castle together.
