Luna
Luna
"at two o'clock at the night under the lighthouse".
I stood under a lamppost giving a faint yellow light under Omar's house. I always admired his fights. They were honestly very brutal, bloody, aggressive but also very clever in terms of tactics. I stood in a black hoodie and my favorite gray jeans with a few rubs and holes. I was comfortable, so I wasn't complaining. Chewing got me used to "it could always be worse" I was just waiting for Omar to notice. I was curious if he took it to heart that he should be careful because I would be the one to find him, not he me.
I heard the quiet opening of the door. I had been waiting for twenty minutes. I didn't move. Omar walked quietly up to the lamppost in his hands holding a small pistol.
-call off the damn thing-I reminded him-or else we'll play. I laughed. My voice was very hoarse.Omar put the gun away and looked at me.
-I told you to be more careful.
-Where did you get my private address for God's sake? -Omar had two addresses. One was known to everyone, because there he did parties and other things, and the other no one knew, except me.
-I know everything," I whispered and lit a cigarette. Omar did the same.
-Luna, Luna, Luna.... Everyone is afraid to talk about you. Why?
-Evidently they have their reasons-I muttered and took another drag.-Last time some chick killed herself because I made her life miserable.
-Maybe it is not without reason that they call you a devil in the body of a poor girl.
-I am not poor in any respect.... I take 1/3 of the money from fights.
-What? You don't fight!
-Do you happen to know Vincent?
-Ta, unfortunately yes.- Vincent was also one of the top fighters next to Omar and also his biggest enemy.
-I am his trainer. He does a pretty good job in the ring doesn't he? But of course he will never beat you.... Maybe you should change your trainer? Because Venom is much better than you and at the death fights it's him you'll be fighting...-death fights are those fights where one side has to die and Venom is the best of the best. He hasn't lost once and in the ring he almost kills his victims. In Omar's eyes I noticed rage uncertainty and fear.
-Division was supposed to be in a month...-the fight itself in four. They purposely gave them a lot of time to prepare.
-It's better for you to know now so you can prepare better.... Look for a trainer better than Smith. He won't give you shit.If anything, write to me.... I prepared everyone for this fight. Nobody lost.... I only prepare the blue corner so he has always won for years. You are there too so think about it.....- I turned around and went my way.
