Tomioka Giyuu stayed with the three, waiting for Tanjro to wake up. He analyzed Y/N closely, still questioning his existence. Y/N was strange, the broken wood from his jaw said enough. But the more Giyuu inspected, the more he noticed. His wooden arms and legs, the off color left eye that the slayer could only assume to be made of the same material.

Y/N stayed for as long as he could, but he wordlessly got up from the snow, the bleeding from his mouth had stopped long ago. The blue eyed man followed the young boy with his eyes, as Y/N started to walk away from the two unconscious siblings.

The man contemplated stopping him, but decided against it as the boys form grew smaller and smaller until he disappeared all together. He was  a strange boy for sure.

Y/N had wanted to stay up until the two woke up, but the more he stayed, the more he realized Jukai was most likely getting worried. So Y/N made his way back down the mountain, a lot slower than how he climbed up. He found his carrier of wood, picking it up and strapping it back to his back.

When he did finally reach the village, the looks of horror that he received before, were nothing compared to what he received now.
Eyes wide in terror and whispers of judgment were sent his way, which the twelve year old expertly ignored.

As Y/N continued to navigate around the village to find his caretaker, a small chile was running around in a playful manner, oblivious to everyone's fear of Y/N.
The boy stopped walking to look at the child, an image of Rokuta's body flashed in his mind for a split second, making his hands tremble a little.

The child continued to run, all the way until he collided with Y/N. The boy looked up to apologize, but his face paled when he saw Y/N. The child stepped back a little before falling to the ground and screamed, which of course, gathered quite the crowd around them.

Y/N continued to look down at the child, more confused than anything on why he screamed out the way he did. A man, who was the father of the child, ran forward and pushed Y/N back, forcing the twelve year old to fall on his back with an unchanging expression, the wood that was strapped to his back scattered across the snowy ground. A woman rushed to pick up the crying child, as the man looked down in anger.

"You stay away from my son, you freak!"

"He's going to kill all of us.."

"Look at the blood on his hands!"

"Didn't he come from up the mountain just now?"

"Someone should check on the Kamados!"

Y/N slowly sat up just as Jukai made his way through the crowd, hurriedly getting to the center and helping Y/N to his feet.

"Come on" Jukai whispered, holding onto Y/N's hand as he got him out of the crowd, their yells increasing.

"Jukai you've got to get him out of here!"

"He's going to doom us all!"

Jukai sped his walk up, ushering Y/N onto the cart and started pulling it out of the town. The chattering village people's voices soon became muffled, until it disappeared all together.

Jukai stopped pulling half way up, before rushing towards the cart and holding the sides of Y/N's head.
"What happened up there? Your jaw, it's completely destroyed" the man ranted, quickly grabbing some bandages from his medical bag to wrap around the lower half of his face.

Jukai looked in the direction of the Kamado household, his chest tightening up.

~

Jukai looked down at the freshly dug and covered graves at the front of the Kamado house. The doors were broken, and the inside of the house was halfhearted cleaned, but there was still some stains on the wooden floors.

Y/N looked around from his spot on the cart, no sign of Tanjiro or Nezuko, but the graves at least reassured him that they woke up and left.

"Demons. There aren't supposed to be demons this far out" Jukai mumbled, glancing behind him to look at Y/N. His breathing accelerated a little, before heading back towards the cart.

"We're leaving okay? We're leaving this place."

Jukai grabbed the handles and started to pull the cart once again.

"No matter what it takes, I won't allow them to find you."
