"Students!" Jungwon shouted to all the pupils on the field.
"Guess what? It's my birthday on the 9th of February! Please don't get too caught up with Valentine's Day...." Jungwon said as his voice slowly got tired. However, he perked up again and continued:
"I figured it would be hard to give you all an invitation by paper, so I decided to use my ability as class-president to 'summon' you all. It would be good if all of you could come, but if escape rooms aren't your thing, maybe it's best not come brave the puzzles and locks. Now, shoo!"
He dismissed them as everyone except for Ni-ki, Jake and Heeseung ran away, as they chatted excitedly amongst themselves.
Jungwon may be the class president, but he was one of the most-laid back class-presidents one could ever meet. He could be tough on the outside at times, but only when Jay or his friends act like troublemakers. However, all Jungwon's friends always teased him about how Jay gets a lighter punishment compared to the bad boy's wickedly playful yet innocent-looking friend Sunoo. Sunghoon was the quiet guy, and it was unusual that the three were a trio. But in every trio, there's a duo, right?
"Hyung, are you sure this is a good idea?" Ni-ki asked.
"Yeah, why not?"
"I don't know, I just feel like something bad's going to happen."
"Don't be silly, even if something bad happens, you have me," Heeseung said cockily.
"Be for real," Jake scoffed as he rolled his eyes, a smile making its way on to his face.
"You have me!" Jungwon said while he flexed his muscles.
People always saw Jungwon as a guy who had a strong mentality, but not a strong body. Jungwon hid his muscles with his baggy uniform until now when he rolled up his sleeve to his shoulder to show his ever-growing biceps.
Ni-ki couldn't help but smirk happily at the sight he was getting. He had seen Jungwon in his swimsuits and therefore knew he had a six-pack and strong muscles, but he couldn't deny the fact that he wanted to tease Jungwon to hide the swelling feeling in his chest.
"Ah, I see you're trying to attract someone today, aren't you?" Ni-ki teased.
"Y-Yah!" Jungwon shouted, pulling his sleeve back down.
"It certainly looks like you're trying to impress Jay," Heeseung joined.
Ni-ki couldn't help but feel his heart drop at that sentence. He knew Jungwon was smitten for Jay, as did his friends, but it still hurt. Luckily, no one saw his smirk turn into a strained smile.
"Hyung!" Jungwon pouted as he crossed his arms in protest.
'Argh, stop! That pouty mouth is making my lips hungry for yours!' Ni-ki thought, his heart suddenly racing.
"I- I need to go." Ni-ki stuttered as he walked swiftly with his long legs to the toilet.
'Gosh, this kid is so obvious.' Heeseung thought, secretly smirking to himself.
'But then again, I can't talk.' He told himself.
"What's his problem?" Jungwon asked, concerned like a brother.
"I don't know," Jake said his first sentence that day, causing everyone to look at him.
"What?" Jake asked.
"Nothing, it's just that you've been quiet the whole day." Heeseung answered, staring into Jake's soul through his eyes.
"S-So?" Jake stuttered, which earned even more concerned glances.
