I woke up, the sun was shining in my eyes blinding me.
"Fucking hell it's bright" I whined squinting.
"I know right" A voice said behind me.
Only then did I realise there was a arm around my waist.
"Holy shit, who the fuck are you" I turned to face the person behind me.
Realization hit me, I knew who he was.
Jeremiah's POV:
I walked downstairs yawning, I ran straight into Laurel and my mum.
"Sweetheart do you know when Summer is coming back from Shayla's we have to go shopping with her" my mum said.
"Uh I don't know I can text her if you want me to" I offered
"Yes please hun" My mum said walking away with Laurel following behind.
I walked into the kitchen and texted Summer.

hey sum, my mum's wondering when you're coming back home, she wants to go shopping, btw we didn't snitch we said you were at Shayla's just so yk
After that I decided to make Conrad a hangover smoothie because I knew he would need it.
Summer's POV:
"Lucas!?" I said surprised "Oh my goodness hii" I said hugging him.
"Hiii" he said laughing hugging back.
Last summer:
"Look I don't want my family finding out about us." I said to him
"I get that" He said smiling sadly
"I'll see you next summer, I promise" I said kissing him
"Don't make a promise that you can't keep." He said sadly walking away
"No Lucas I promise" I yelled after him tears streaming down my face.
We had met at the start of the summer, we started dating in secret but after that summer he wouldn't reply to any of my calls or texts, and I never heard from him again.
Back to now:
I started crying "Why'd you leave me" I said through tears
"Oh Sum I didn't want to hurt you, I knew I'd end up hurting you somehow and I couldn't bare to put you through pain, it was the end of the summer I thought it was the perfect time." He said with tears in his eyes.
"But why, you could've at least answered my texts and calls." I exclaimed
"You have no idea how many times I wanted to reply, it hurt me so much to not be able to." He said now crying as well "summie it was so bad, it hurt so bad" He said in tears
He said my old nickname, I started smiling.
"You called me summie" I said smiling through the tears
"Yeah of course because you're my summie" He said trying to laugh
"Awww" I said hugging him.
After we finished talking he let me use his shower, as I got out of the shower I had gotten a text from Jeremiah.

I dried off and put on one of Lucas' button up shirts over my dress from last night, I walked out of the bathroom.
"Lucas I have to go back home my mum and Susannah want to go shopping" I said laughing
"But you hate shopping" He said laughing as well
"I know" I said shaking my head pouting
"Okay then let's go, I'll drive you home" he said getting up grabbing his keys then linking arms with me we walked out the door.
As we pulled up to the house, I hugged Lucas goodbye then went inside. I was greeted with Stevens angry face, oh this is going to be fun I thought to myself.
"Where the fuck were you, you left with a teenage boy what the fuck were you thinking. He could've hurt you." He whisper yelled so the mums wouldn't hear.
"Steven I can look after myself, I also knew him from last summer he's a friend" I hissed at him
"Didn't look like a friend" he hissed back at me
"What's that supposed to mean" I whispered angrily
"You guys were all over each other" He said fake throwing up
"Oh grow up you idiot" I yelled stomping upstairs.
I went to my room to get dressed to go shopping, I wore this: (top, shorts and shoes)
