"Dad, I'm still in college and not that old yet," you said to him. "Do we really need to have this conversation?"
Argus: "That fact that you're not that old yet is exactly why we should have this conversation. Look, your other siblings are in rather debatable positions. I just discovered that your older brother and sister have been in college for the past decade and your younger siblings have been causing just as much trouble in high school. You are the most reliable one and New Eden would benefit greatly from someone who still has time to have a proper heir. I'll give you a month to try and make some progress."
Left in disbelief, you sighed.
Argus: "I'm not trying to control your life, I just want to do what's best for the company that you're grandfather built for us. And your mother needs someone who shows promise, so grandkids would complete that. Good luck. Love you."
After hanging up, you put the phone away in disbelief.
"Why is my family life the only thing that sucks?"
You heard growling, and saw an inhuman shadow come out of an alley. You ran into a hiding and saw a monstrous creature emerge.
"What the hell is that thing?" you whispered.
Suddenly, someone hit yourself against a wall and you heard a voice say "What did I just hit?"
"Uh, me," you responded.
They moved back from yourself and you saw a beautiful woman with long yellow hair and a matching colored eye, along with a large eyepatch on her left one.

"Are you okay?" she asked.
"Yes," you responded, snapping out of your trance. "Just hiding from that creature that appears to have a lust for human blood."
"Yeah, Evil Humans tend to have that addiction."
"Evil Humans?"
She then pulls out a phone and tried to call someone, but hung up after it doesn't go through.
"What's your name?"
"Y/N."
"Well, I'm Marie. Also, do you know how to fight?"
"I don't know how to fight monsters. I mean, my mom and dad did make me do some weird, extreme training with a family friend. Something about "Demon Great Sword Mastery" or something like that."
"Good enough," Marie said before transforming into a hammer.

"Oh my god, you're one of them?"
Marie: "Not the one you're used to, but I am a Demon Weapon. Your best chance of getting out alive is killing that Evil Human."
"Oh well," you groaned, "I've had a good run."
Marie: "Have a little faith."
You fought the monster and used the skills you've learned to avoid its claws. You were surprised that you could even perform such impressive moves.
After leaping off a street light, you fell and used the force to smash the weapon into the creatures, splattering it all over the pavement.
"Very impressive," Marie responded, returning into her human form.
"I thought my dad spiked my water with something since I saw my cousin turn into a great sword."
Marie: "Nope. it was real. Well, that's all for today. Take care and be safe."
"Uh, sure thing."
She then walked away, and you watched her slowly disappear.
