As you were sitting a cafe, you looked at your phone and read the messages you sent to Marie, asking her to meet up with you. After that monster attack, the two of you have been texting each other every now and again, but now, you've been wanting to meet her in person again.
Eventually, Marie arrived and waved hi to you.
"Marie. Glad you could come here."
Marie: "Well, I wasn't busy today, and I always enjoyed the Latte from this place."
She sat down and ordered a drink.
"I know this is crazy, but can I ask you something out of the blue?"
Marie: "You want to ask if we could go out together?"
"Am I that obvious?"
Marie: "No, I just figured. Also, I came across the CEO of New Eden Corp. who was just going on and on about how his middle child is the only one who isn't making a fool of himself. And he did show me your pic, which I'm starting to think he was drunk when he did that. Might also explain why he was pretty ungrateful after I stopped that evil human from attacking."
"He got attacked by one of those things?"
Marie: "Kinda, but he's unharmed. So, what's your question for bringing me here?"
"Yeah, that's a little of why I wanted to talk to you, but I wanted to say that I genuinely was head over heels when you helped me protect myself from one of those creatures."
Marie: "Yeah, a reverse damsel in distress. Sorry, that was uncalled for. Keep going. Don't let me stop you."
"So, I would also like to get better at being this "Meister" as you call them, and I also wanted to know if getting to know you is possible, if you would allow it."
Marie giggled.
"Marie?"
Marie: "I actually have some missions to go on, but any other Meister I know is too busy with other things, so I need one that's available and I'd like to get to know you more than just "the guy that used me in my weapon form". So yeah, I don't see why not."
"Okay. I'll do everything in my power to not creep you out."
Marie: "Well, I'll try to give you some slack but still hold you to that."
"That's fair. Want me to pay for your drink?"
Marie: "No, you should order your drink. I got mine covered already."
You smiled a bit as you ordered his drink and continued talking with Marie.
