A weird blue hue, followed by a shiny light started to appear once Lily was finally getting her consciousness back in the track. It seemed that she just woke up there again, after suffering the memory loss from such an attack that made her faint for a while. She was feeling like she was laying onto something, like a bed of some sort, but this bed felt kind o cheap like it was made of paper and another type of fragile material. It was clearly not her bedroom, with the walls being a tone of blue remembering some sort of daycare for children. She wasn't sure what was actually going on, including on what things were there, as well as something on her head. As she slowly tried to stand up and put her hand on her head to feel what was rolled on it, she felt something like a bandage rolled on her head. It was at that point where she remembered what happened to her during that time. She was both really sad and confused on why that random monster had to sneak up behind her and attack her with such great force to the point she was incapacitated temporarily, so confused in fact that she tried to see it as something that was not important at the moment. Although she was hurt and stuck inside this room, she had complete movement and could know her surroundings and notice some few things. Oddly enough, she was without her backpack and it was nowhere to be seen in that room, which was a bit scary since it was brand new and didn't want to tell her mother that she lost it, followed by the fact she went all alone by herself into this weird adventure. The only things in this room, other than the weird blue tone in the place, was a bed she was sitting on and a table, with a note on it. From the way she was, Lily couldn't read the note properly and had to get off of the bed and head to the table, where she would grab the note and read it all on her mind. ' We do not know who you are and why you are down here, but for now we cannot let you leave this place for now. It may be in ruins but we still have to do some tests with you. In addition, you must behave properly and follow our orders and rules, or else it will result in severe punishment. - Sheriff Toadster ' was written on the note. It was known that if she didn't behave, she would probably go through the same punishment from last time. Her eyes started watering again from fear, and she slowly sat on the floor while leaving the note on the floor by her side, trying her best to get this feeling off of her. The crying was silent but it was enough for others around to hear her cry, as if she was hurt and was trying her best to not show off of it, but still try to cry the pain out. Eventually, a few seconds later, there were two people coming by the steps being heard on the short hallway near the room, where the girl was locked. It seemed like they were about to do something evil to her, thinking about the recent attack she received that knocked her out easily, which left her in so much fear that she was about to cry again, but held onto herself to not cry and find a way to hide from those people coming to the room. There was nothing that she could use to hide herself other than the bed, with a space where she could crawl and hide herself under it. She chose the only option available, leading her to hide under the bed and listen to the steps come into the room. It started with a beeping sound coming outside the room, which was one of the monsters opening the door with the keycard, and the one who opened the door was left quite surprised that the girl seemed that she disappeared of the room. " What the hell? I thought I closed the vents for her not to leave! ", they shouted, looking around the room with his friend who also spoke, " Really? ", with both voices being extremely familiar to each other, one remembering the guy that was looking after Lily and the other being the one who was responsible for knocking the girl out with a single punch. Both entered the room and started to look around, which was an extremely fearful moment for Lily since it wouldn't take for a single look under the bed to find out that the girl was just hiding under it. While the red creature, identified to be Banban, was saying " She couldn't have jumped to the vents that easily. It way too high for her and it's still closed like you did before. ', the brown monster identified to be the frog-assimilated one getting on his knees and finding the answer, looking under the bed. Just by the fact she saw that huge creepy smile on the frog's face was enough to make her scream in fear, a loud high-pitched scream, that irritated both monster's hearings. Both monsters just stepped back as the loud scream hurted their hearings, both grunting a bit due to the pain they had to deal. In a moment of impulse, without thinking twice over the girl's emotions, the toad looking monster decided to grab the bed from under it and hold it up to reveal Lily lying on the floor, later saying " Grab her! " to Banban. Lily who was unhidden now saw that moment as an opportunity to escape from the room, leading her to quickly get up, scratching her shoes on the floor which made squeaking noises, in an attempt to quickly run from this place and try to find an escape small enough where she could pass through once she was far away enough to search around the place, while the others couldn't. Unfortunately for her, the red creature, Banban, was quick enough to grab the child by the back of the shirt and with his arms in the reach, could get a hold of Lily and stop her from escaping from the room. The girl started to violently shake her arms and legs trying to get off of Banban, feeling as much fear like previously when falling through the immense hole in the ball pit room, also screaming loudly trying to hurt the monsters's hearings again. This time, Banban was a bit smarter and with his hand, showing that he only had three small fingers for each hand, managed to cover the child's mouth, so much to the point where his forearm was covering the girl's face entirely. " Keep this child silent! Holy cow! ", the toad-assimilated monster said, commenting over the girl's high-pitched scream. Lily noticed how Banban's forearms were larger than the normal human, as if it were swollen or had some sort of disease. She kept punching his arm trying to get her face off of it, but compared to a grown monster, she was way too weak to prevent this. As Banban was holding her and covering her face, he, followed by the other creature, started saying things like " Calm down, it's okay! " repeatedly as an attempt to calm the child down to chat with her about something really important. What seemed to be a Hell of a task to make the child stop crying and trying to get off of Banban's arms, the other creature, the toad-assimilated one, decided to go to Banban's right, get on one of his knees and try talking to Lily, saying " Okay– listen. Sheriff Toadster speaking. ", revealing he was the one who wrote the letter in the table when the girl woke up. This immediately made her slowly stop crying and try as best as possible to obey their orders, still feeling a lot of fear of them. " We really need that you cooperate with us and finish these tests. We are not here to harm you, but to protect you. We know that you are afraid, but even if fear is an excuse, we will still give you a severe punishment. ", a small moment of silence was kept during these few seconds, before the monster finishes with " ...Understood? ". Lily, who was having a lot of difficulty having eye contact with Sheriff Toadster, looked over to the left and looked down, as if she accepted her fate, and nodded to the creature. She slowly let go off her grip on Banban's arm, revealing that her hand was shivering from fear. Banban who was watching the entire scene gently grabbed the girl's hand with its three fingers from one hand and said " Don't worry, we will still take care of you for this time. ", trying to calm her down even if he looks like a figure of nightmare fuel for Lily. The other creature, Sheriff Toadster, noticed that she was still frightened over the situation, but he didn't know other way that could calm her down, after all, she's just a child who ended up in these ruins of a daycare, so to move on from that, he just tapped the girl's shoulder and said " Alright. Let's move on from this and go to the first test. ", before starting to walk away from the room and take a different direction on the short hallway. While Sheriff Toadster was leaving, Banban let Lily go off of his arms and started to follow his friend, later asking for the same child to follow them. Still scared of doing so, there was no other choice and didn't want to receive punishments that could lead to much more pain and suffering, so she started to follow them, leaving the room where she was first locked in and passing through the hallway with a light blue painting on the walls, followed by clouds drawn. There seemed to be other rooms that were locked just like the one where Lily was stuck, getting her attention caught up by the curiosity to know what's inside of one of these rooms. Luckily for her, every door had two gaps in the middle, resembling a door handle, which could be looked through easily leading to her stop following them and try to look through the door. Taking a peek on one of these doors, there was nothing much other than the same furniture present in the previous room: one bed and a table, nothing more, nothing less. " There must be something different in these doors. ", Lily thought to herself in her mind, going to take a peek on the other door. To her surprise, there seemed to be some sort of plushie on the top of the bed inside this certain room. However, it was so weird when she focused more on this plushie, since it had so many marks and wounds as if it was severely damaged like a real creature. It wasn't moving a single muscle, but it wasn't showing signs that it was an inanimate object either. Her thoughts filled with questions as she kept watching it, until suddenly she was called over by the same one who tried to calm her down before, Banban. It started with a " Hey. ", before Lily turned her face to the monster and he continued with " Come over. You still have to do the test Sheriff Toadster requires you to. ", leaving for Lily to do what she was supposed to. She looked a bit to the left and back at Banban, before just nodding and then going back to follow them through this weird hallway. While the three kept walking, Lily was still trying to take a peek on the other doors, but failed as she couldn't focus correctly on what was inside of it while having to keep a pace with the other ones, but eventually, they would then arrive to a certain room that would scare the child a bit more, more than she actually was already. This was the projection room, where supposedly there would be a certain video going to be played by the projector once they would get inside, and Sheriff Toadster would configure the projector. However, instead of seeing many chairs and the lights turned on, she would see just a single table with a chair being reflected by the light of the hallway, also with the fact that the room was completely covered in the darkness. Lily was a bit too scared to go in the room, in a matter of fact, she was always scared to get inside the projection rooms due to the fear of the darkness, but once again, she didn't have other choice and taking a deep breath, she entered the room where she was met with almost nothing in there. As she stood near the entrance and staring into the darkness, Sheriff Toadster called her attention by tapping the chair and then saying " Please, take a seat. ", telling Lily to sit on the chair. The child slowly walked over to the chair and gently sat down on it, staring into the light of the hallway, the entrance of the projection room, as there was no other light source than the lights coming from the hallway, waiting for something to happen while suddenly Sheriff Toadster went into a different room once the girl sat down on the chair. A minute in, almost feeling like it was taking way too long for it to start, suddenly a light was flashed upon the wall the girl was facing to. Once this light was turned on, Sheriff Toadster in the room, in the back, said " Alright.-- Listen, kid. I am going to put some images in the projector and I want you to tell me: If you have seen or not seen this person. ", before going back to setting up the projector. Lily only nodded, which wasn't really seen by Sheriff Toadster, but he didn't really care and continued to set up the projector. In a few seconds, suddenly the projector flickered and showed an image of a monster, just like Banban. However, this monster was different from the other ones, as it showed a pattern of green and purple on its body. Half of its body was green and the other half was purple, also by the look on its face on which a half of it was frowning, while the other was smiling. It was also described to be its half being smoother, while the other was described to be spiky, with the hand being similar to a snake. While Lily was analyzing the image of the creature, the monster who was using the projector then said " So, have you ever seen this person around the daycare? ", leaving for Lily to answer. Thinking a bit, she didn't want to say the truth since it could be used on some form of data, on which could result in her getting punished somehow, a way or another, as it seemed like the rules were super strict in this place, however, she was a really nice person to not lie, and lying was something that she hated to do when talking to her mother or showing her few words when she was three to her father. It a moment that seemed like she was trying to recognize the figure, she then said " N-No. ", showing a bit of fear in her voice. The monster who was setting up the projector was doubting that she said the true answer, so he spoke once again during the test, " Listen– I want you to tell you the truth as much as possible. Don't be afraid to tell us the truth, we won't hurt you if you do so. ", leading to Sheriff Toadster to believe she was lying, when in reality she was telling the truth, but she was too afraid to speak back as after all, he could knock her out in just a single punch and the creatures in this place seemed to be mutated in such a way that they were extremely strong, much more than the normal human. The projector started flickering again, with the image of the first creature vanishing away upon the first flick was seen, later showing an image of what seemed to be a giant green monster, which a large smile on its face was present. It was like this creature was trying to resemble a gorilla, from the pose it was present. Sheriff Toadster once again asked " Have you ever seen this person around the daycare? ", which after some few seconds, Lily said " I-I only saw a drawing of him... at the entrance of the daycare. ". It was a much detailed answer to the monster using the projector, which made him believe this was the truth, which it was. He nodded as he heard the answer, later using the projector to change the image, He was having a bit of difficult adding the other image, which made the girl build up some anxiety and fear as it was taking a bit too long for her to finally be able to answer. Eventually, the projector seemed to launch the image against the wall which it was going to be displayed, this time showing what seemed to be another monster similar to Banban, with many similar characteristics with the body and face. However, the monster had a closed smile on its face followed by its tongue out, followed by what seemed to be a jester hat on the top of his head. Like Banbanleena, his color scheme was a white tone, but with some few decorations in yellow in his jester hat. Followed by the image being displayed, Sheriff Toadster then proceeded to ask " Alright, so... have you ever seen this person around the daycare? ", which left for Lily to answer. She stood there looking at the picture that was being projected onto the large wall, inspecting the details of the monster. While she was looking at it and trying to build an answer, this due to the fear she was feeling previously, Sheriff Toadster, her "friend" that will help her get protected from any evil in the daycare, said " Trust me. This entity is dangerous. ", referring to the monster as dangerous and as an entity. Without turning around to the window of the projector, where Sheriff Toadster was currently located in the room with the device, Lily answered and questioned him, " I have never seen him... b-but why is he dangerous? ", which was immediately met with his answer. " He has been identified to be hostile, as he cannot control his emotions properly and seems to be mentally unstable over the organs of his victims. ", later her "friend" turning around and seeming to be saying something that was at the moment inaudible for the child. Lily just stood there, sitting in the chair and observing the image onto the wall, thinking of what could be making this person so hostile towards other victims and what could these words mean, after all, she is just a kid. While Sheriff Toadster was fixing the projector, the image suddenly flickered and went black for a few seconds, before flickering a few more times and then turning off, leaving both of them in the darkness. Lily tried to look around, scared of the moment she was situated in, kind of in fear. " It's way too dark in here... Toadster? ", the kid spoke, looking around and trying to find her "friend", later receiving the touch of the monster by her shoulder, with the monster's hand grabbing her shoulder to signalize that he was still there. " The test is over. Now follow me. ", he kindly asks for her to get up from the chair and follow him around the space from the daycare. Upon leaving the projector room, the three were met again with the hallway with many rooms. Again, as they walked by, Lily kept trying to peek through the small gaps on the doors to see what was inside of one of those rooms, again, meeting the same monsters and same other details that she saw previously. While she was trying to peek through the doors, Sheriff Toadster, once again, called for her name as she was not following her "friend" properly, leading to her get a bit scared once she was called out, leaving for her to stop peeking through the door gaps and once again keep following the monster. They kept walking until they met with a door that required a keycard, which of course, as the main leader of this floor from the daycare, Sheriff Toadster had the right keycard to open the door, inserting it next to the sensor which allowed them to open the sliding doors and pass to the main area, the green lunchroom which was the place where Lily was previously in, before the attack that caused her to go unconscious. As they got to this specific room, they also met with the red monster, Banban, wanting to say something as they walked by the place, as if he wanted to have a small talk with Sheriff Toadster. It wasn't clear what he was feeling, after all, he was stuck with a smile all the time, forcing him to express himself through his voice tone. One thing to mention is that he could at least move his eyes, as seen that once the sliding doors were open and Sheriff Toadster entered the lunchroom with Lily, Banban looked at Lily's friend and kept thinking about what he has done for the child to simply have bandages all over her head, except for the eyes, a part of her nose, and mouth, allowing her to see, speak and breath properly. The red creature slowly kept the same walk pace as the other ones, later saying " A child fell into this place. I genuinely feel sad for her and her parents. ". Lily was a bit scared, ever since the time that Banban slowly turned around and trying to see if she was inside the castle from the playground. " I wish I could have been the one to save her. You really have done some damage to her, from the last time I've seen her. ", Banban said, revealing that he already knew about the girl in the playground castle the entire time, he just didn't want to hurt her in any way. " God damnit, Banban... But honestly, I... shouldn't have hurt her this much. ", Sheriff Toadster commented about the situation, later looking back at Lily as he couldn't forget the fact that she had bandages all because of the attack provoked against the child. Then, they started walking towards a place where they all could be safe and sound, always making sure that Lily was next to them. She wasn't sure of how long this was gonna take, but she was for sure scared.
