Music is my escape
As I listen
I think about how I feel
I think
But sometimes
Sometimes I just sing
And all my thoughts disappear
Music is a long walk on the beach
Relaxing and spontaneous
The notes I sing
Is the refreshment of
The cool water against my feet
Every wrong note is like sandy feet
Not pleasant
But easy to erase, to fix.
Songs are like
The gentle breeze
Blowing all your cares away
For that moment
When the music plays
My life is a walk on the beach
Luxurious and sweet
