How would your countenance be
In the face of adversities?
How would your heart and mind be
In the face of calamities?
Would your face be
Downcast or joyful?
Would your heart be
Troubled or hopeful?
Would your trust be
In the Lord and His Ways
Or would it be
In the world and its ways?
Let your eyes be fixed
On the Lord Almighty
Your life will be filled
With His Grace and Mercy
Your heart and mind
Will be at peace
And you will find
True hope in Him
