time 9:30 am
— aspens game day

ring ring ring, my alarm clock went off. i opened my eyes and quickly clicked the x. i grabbed my phone and scrolled on social media for about 10 minutes before getting up. today was my game and nelson was going. i'm obviously hella nervous. i grabbed a made hoops compression shirt along with our team shorts. i grabbed my jersey from my closet, number 30. my game was at 11 so i still had plenty time. i heard my mom cooking breakfast downstairs so i grabbed my nike elite bag that already had my hoop shoes in it. i put on white nike socks and my black yeezy slides and headed downstairs. i was just going to do my hair when we got to the gym.

i made my way downstairs to be greated with my mom.
"good morning aspen, you ready for your game?"
"yeah. i definitely am a little nervous but it's alright," i added.
"don't worry, you'll be okay."
"also nelson's coming."
"oh that will be nice," my mom laughed too herself before adding, "eat some breakfast." i nodded and grabbed and plate. i put pancakes and scrabbled eggs and sat down. as i began eating hadley came down to the kitchen.
"hey mom, hey aspen. you ready for your game?"
"yeah i'm a little nervous and nelson's going." hadley smirked and also grabbed a plate of breakfast.

i walked into the gym with my mom and hadley. i walked into the locker room and a few of my teammates were already there.
"hey guys." i smiled.
"heyy aspen," oakley spoke.

i placed my bag next to oakley's.

oakley put my hair in a high ponytail and turned it into a bubble braid. as she finished nelson texted.

i walked out onto the court and i immediately saw nelson. we still had 15 minutes until game time so i walked up to him.
"nelson!"
"aspen!" nelson stood up and gave me a hug. i wrapped my arms around his neck and his arms rested around my waist.
"we haven't seen eachother in so long," nelson spoke into my neck.
"it's been a week you goof." i pulled away from the hug.
"still long," he added.
"can't wait to watch you play." nelson smiled.
"i'm a little nervous i can't lie hopefully i play good"
"you'll do great trust." i nodded in response.
"well i have to go warm up, meet up with me after the game okay?" nelson nodded and i ran over to where my team was warming up. we all just practiced layups and 3 point shots.

time 10:55, almost game time

my team and i were in a group huddle getting prepared for our game.

"3, 2, 1 WIN!" my team yelled.

i honestly don't feel like writing the game 😬😬 so they won 78-50. aspen scored 32 points.

nelson had come up to me.
"great job aspen!" he smiled and hugged me.
"thanks nelson," i giggled. i pulled away from the hug.
"yo aspen, do you want to come over later?"
"yeah sure, i'd love too but i gotta ask my mom quick, come with me." nelson nodded in agreement and walked with me.
"hey mom."
"hey aspen, great job sweetie," my mom smiled.
"thank you, i was wondering if i could go to nelson's later?"
my mom looked at nelson and i before speaking,
"sure, after you shower and such." i laughed.
"well nelson ill text you when im on the way okay? text me your address."
"okay, cya aspen."
"cya nelson."

time 12 pm
— home

i had showered and put on an outfit including essentials sweat shorts and an essentials hoodie. i put on nike socks and my yeezy slides. my hair was still wet from my shower. i did a little makeup, just mascara and concealer.
