Purposefully naive
Just to see the good in the people
People that ignore my feelings
They wouldn't understand
I've lost much more than
I could ever gain in a lifetime.
Just to make it work
I'd forgive them a million times.
Because that's the right thing to do.
Seeing the good in others won't
make them love you.
