Seokjin carefully pulls off the lid to the potion and pours a tiny drop into the drink he bought Jimin, his test subject. He has the antidote set out as well, on hand to give Jimin as soon as he needs to. Just to make sure it works, he uses the straw in Jimin's drink to stir it around, filling the entire drink with the potion.

He waits for a few minutes, tapping his foot against the barstool he's sitting on. And then, as soon as the entrance door bell chimes, an autumn-forestry scent fills his nostrils, causing him to scrunch his nose and glare back at the familiar scent.

Except when he turns to glare, he's instantly met with the sight of Jeon Jungkook stepping up beside him, leaning onto the counter. He scoffs because of how close Jungkook is—close enough to see the hairs on his brown bunny ears.

"Ah, I was so thirsty." He looks Seokjin in the eye. "It's like you read my mind. Such a refreshing drink." Before Seokjin can get over his anger and realize what's happening, Jungkook reaches for the drink sitting in front of Seokjin and he puts the straw in his mouth and...

Wait.

Wait a minute–

"Don't—!" Seokjin snatches the drink just as the liquid fills Jungkook's mouth. The straw stays between Jungkook's lips and iced coffee splatters everywhere as Jungkook stares at the omega with wide eyes. Seokjin's heart races as he realizes how stupid he is for letting Jungkook take his drink and it also races with anger because, "What the fuck is wrong with you?! Are you crazy?"

"Am I crazy?" Jungkook says after snatching the straw out of his mouth. "I didn't know that being obnoxious and sipping your drink would be such a bad thing."

Seokjin scoffs. "Well, at least you admit that you're obnoxious."

Jungkook slightly squints his eyes. "God, I fucking love you." Then, his eyes grow wide, and it looks like his entire body takes a screenshot—he stiffens up, stands tall next to Seokjin, and stares at him in confusion. "What? No, I Love... I love you." He furrows his eyebrows. "Why am I saying this? I love you."

It's funny, seeing Jungkook struggle with his words. Seokjin tells him, "Right. I hate you, too. You're so damn annoying. That drink had a love potion in it. And I'm not giving you the antidote until you admit how dumb and rude you are."

"I am dumb and that was very rude of me," Jungkook admits almost too easily, and he looks annoyed by it. "That's not right, Seokjin. I don't just admit things like that. Why am I saying shit like this?"

"Because you are in love with me."

Jungkook stares him down for a good few seconds. "I feel very much in love with you," he says, then pinches the bridge of his nose. "Give me the antidote," he says with his hand held out. Seokjin hands the antidote over, telling him to only take a drop of it, and the alpha does this with no hesitation at all. He looks Seokjin in the eyes. "I love you. What the fuck?"

Now, Seokjin's heart skips a beat, but only because Jungkook shouldn't be saying these things anymore. "Stop fucking around, Jeon." He averts his eyes, but Jungkook slams the antidote down on the counter, earning his attention again.

"I'm not lying. I love you! Ugh, I love you. I love you so much. I—"

"Stop!" Seokjin covers his ears. "This isn't funny."

"I can't stop!" Jungkook groans out. "I don't know what you did, but this isn't a love potion. The antidote didn't even work. So what's wrong with me?"

Seokjin questions him, "Really? So you aren't in love with me?"

"Yes, I am in love with you." Jungkook facepalms. "Fuck."

Sighing, Seokjin gets up from his seat. "I guess I rushed the antidote. I'll go remake it and..." He rolls his eyes. "I'll message you on social media somewhere to let you know it's ready. Just give me a few days."

"A few days?!" Jungkook once again groans. "God, you're lucky you're so cute." He covers his mouth with his hands and Seokjin simply stares at him, wondering why Jungkook's bunny ears fall back in shame. He didn't know that someone loving him could be so bad.

"Stop whining. It'll be over before you know it." He gets up out of his seat and once again shoves by Jungkook, clashing their shoulders as he leaves, throwing away the cursed drink.
