"All right everyone, settle down. We have a new student joining us starting today. You can come in." The teacher motioned the transfer student to enter.

Y/n entered the classroom and walked in front of the chalkboard.

"She's a cutie..."

"Score! Another girl in the classroom!"

"Y/N-CHAAANNNN!!!!" Kei sprung up and held up a banner with a poorly drawn portrait of the mentioned girl, earning a couple of whispers from other classmates and Taro urging him to sit down.

"Pfft-"

On the other hand, Y/n was trying not to lose it in front of her new classmates and teacher.

'Is that creature supposed to be me? Quite the resemblance.' Tears from holding in her laughter threatened to fall.

"Go ahead and introduce yourself."

"S-sure." She began writing her name on the chalkboard, unable to control the grin on her face. She cleared her throat and faced everyone except Kei.

'Why isn't she facing my way? I made this sick banner for her!' The former genius catcher pouted.

"Hello, I'm L/n Y/n! I originally went to school here in Japan but ended up moving to America due to my father's work for a couple of years. And because of his work, I'm back here again. Pleased to make your acquaintance and please take care of me! Thank you!"

"YEAH Y/N-CHAANN!!!!" Kei brought up the banner again like a proud mother, this time earning a glare from the teacher and some chalk to the head.

The teacher cleared his throat, "L/n, you can take your seat next to Kiyomine over there."

"Got it, thank you, teacher."

The girl made her way to her appointed seat, passing by Kei's masterpiece.

Upon closer inspection, it looked like a potato with tentacles for hair, spiders for eyes, and a giant butt chin being sacrificed by.....raccoons?

Ah, the chin is supposed to be her smile and the raccoons are rabbits all frolicking with her in a meadow.

"It's really cute! What do you think Y/n-chan?" Kei readied himself to be praised for his artwork like a 5-year-old who brought something home from art class.

"It's wonderful Kei-chan. Good work!" Y/n gave a thumbs up, feeding his confidence. She just couldn't laugh in his face and tell him it looked like some sort of satanical ritual.

"Yeah! I knew it! I knew you'd like it! Haru-chan said he liked it too!"

Y/n and Kiyomine nodded at each other and watched as their friend rambled on.

The proclaimed artist turned to Taro, "I told you Yama-chan! This is art." He smiled quite smugly while Taro shed a tear from Y/n's and Haruka's kindness.

'Is this what the two had to deal with as kids?'

Lunchtime

As if on cue, once the bell rang students flocked to Y/n's desk.

"L/n-san right? Let's exchange contact info!"

"You're from America? That's pretty cool! What's it like?"

"L/n-chan!! You're really pretty! Let's be friends!"

"Hey, do you want to go out for karaoke later?"

The new student was getting bombarded by questions and did her best to answer all of them.
