Meeting in the pits

From the start of the summer Kylie made it a goal to walk everyday. She always walked her favorite trail which was the dirt pit trail behind her neighborhood. Sometimes while on her walks she loved fining bottom caps and soda tabs from old cans. She would pick them up then carefully put them in her pockets and then take them home to be cleaned before using to make jewelry with her Kandi beads.

On one cool June day as she was walking she spotted a can and ran towards it. As she bent down to pick it up another hand join hers.

"Oh hi, sorry you can have the tab." The boy nodded and stepped back.

"Oh thanks, I'm Kylie." She introduced herself.

"Nice I'm Asher. I really like all your Kandi bracelets." He said awkwardly.

"Oh thank you!" She smiled.

The two continued talking mostly because they were very intrigued with each other's similar styles. Kylie especially took an odd interest to Asher's body. Yes that may sound weird but she had a good reason. It was already rare enough that she got to meet other scene kids let alone scene kids on the chubbier side. All her the scene kids she knew were really skinny and it made her feel self conscious about her body sometimes. Plus she always had a special spot it her heart for chubby boys. She viewed them as teddy bears.

"Hey how come I've never seen you in school before? Did you just move here?"

"Well no, been home schooled my whole life." He mumbled.

The two continued their walk together and Evan changed social medias.
