Episode 9

Continuation from the previous episode

Noon and Atom had just arrived on the roof of the hospital.

"You search there, I'll search here," said Atom.

"Okay," replied Noon.

They both split up and searched for Anda and Lookaew.

"Anda, where are you?" shouted Noon.

But there was no response from Anda.

"Atom, I've searched everywhere but still can't find him," said Noon.

"Same here. But I find it strange that there's nothing here, why isn't Anda here?" replied Atom.

"Are you sure he's up here?" asked Noon.

"Hey, we both saw on the CCTV earlier. He didn’t come down," Atom replied.

They both looked very tired because they had been searching for their friend non-stop.

"Wait, have you searched the area near the water tank?" asked Noon.

"Not yet," answered Atom.

"Let's try searching there. I hope they're there," said Noon.

They approached the water tank.

ANDA’S POV

"Help us!" cried Anda, knocking loudly on the wall of the water tank. His hand was bleeding because he had been knocking so hard. Lookaew was still unconscious.

Meanwhile

"Noon, do you hear what I hear?" asked Atom.

"I only hear the sound of water," replied Noon.

"No, listen again. I hear what sounds like someone screaming," said Atom.

"Wait," replied Noon.

He leaned his ear against the wall of the water tank.

"Hey, I think Anda is in here!" yelled Noon.

"You must be kidding, Noon. Don't joke around," replied Atom.

"If you don't believe me, listen for yourself," said Noon.

Atom approached the wall of the water tank.

"Anda!" yelled Atom, knocking on the wall of the water tank.

Anda, who was almost losing hope, was startled by the knocks from outside the water tank.

"I'm in here! Help me!" shouted Anda.

"Noon, Anda is in here!" yelled Atom.

"Wait a minute Anda! We're trying to open this door," shouted Noon.

They both frantically searched for the door of the water tank.

"Oh no, Atom. We have to open this door together," said Noon.

"Yes, I'll help," replied Atom.

They tried to open the door of the water tank several times but were unsuccessful.

"Oh, Atom, I can't do this anymore. I'm going to poop trying to open this door," said Noon, exhausted.

"Hey, I feel the same, but we can't let Anda die in there," replied Atom.

"Oh, he's going to die in there instead," whispered Noon.

"Well, I don't care. You have to help me open this door. Are you going to poop or pee, I don’t care, as long as Anda is safe," said Atom.

"Okay," replied Noon, resigned.

After several attempts, they finally managed to open the door of the water tank.

"Anda!" yelled Atom.

"Yes," replied Anda, exhausted.

"Give me your hand, I'll pull you out," said Atom.

"You take care of Lookaew first," replied Anda.

"But you?" asked Atom.

"Lookaew is in bad shape right now. You need to take care of her," replied Anda.

"Okay," said Atom.

Anda handed Lookaew to Atom.

"You make sure she's safe, Atom. Everything that happened is my fault," Anda said, tears falling.

"Okay, don't worry. I promise I'll save Lookaew," replied Atom.

"Noon, you save Anda. I'll take care of Lookaew," Atom continued.

Atom took Lookaew to the treatment room.

"Give me your hand," Noon said to Anda.

Anda extended his hand to Noon.

Noon looked at Anda's hand. Without hesitation, he tore open his shirt to treat Anda's hand.

Anda was also taken to the treatment room and treated by Noon.

"Explain to me what happened earlier," said Noon while treating Anda's hand.

"I was looking for Lookaew alone on the roof, then I was hit from behind. I realized I was already inside the water tank. Lookaew's husband was also there with us. He..." Anda said, stuttering.

"What about him?" asked Noon.

"He explained to me why he abused Lookaew," replied Anda.

"Why?" asked Noon.

Anda explained what had happened, leaving Noon shocked.

"So it's because of you that Lookaew is like this," Noon said, unable to believe it.

"Yes, Noon. I feel so guilty. Because of my foolish feelings, Lookaew is suffering every day," Anda replied, tears streaming down his face.

"Stay strong, Anda. What's done is done," said Noon, comforting him.
