Episode 1

Kring.....

Anda phone rings. It's still early in the morning, but her phone won't stop ringing. Anda pick up the call.

"Yes, what is it?" Anda ask.

"Dr. Anda patient in bed 5 is not breathing!" the intern on the line answers.

"What!!! You need to do CPR now. I'll be there in 5 minutes," Anda say as she hang up the call.

Anda are now very busy with her work.

Anda call Noon who is at the hospital.

"Noon, please help me!" Anda say.

"Why, what's wrong?" Noon asks.

"Please check on patient in bed 5. The intern said he's not breathing." Anda say.

"Okay, I'll go now," Noon replies shortly.

Noon runs towards the patient's room Anda mentioned. He sees a chaotic scene because at that time, there was only an intern working.

"Step aside, let me do it," Noon says.

"Okay, doctor," the intern says.

Noon starts performing CPR on the patient. Luckily, the patient is saved.

Anda have just arrived at the hospital.

"How is Noon?" Anda ask, exhausted.

"The patient is breathing again," Noon replies.

Thank goodness. Thank you, Noon," Anda say.

"Okay, but try to see why he got like this again," Noon replies.

"Yes, I'll check," Anda say.

Noon then leaves.

"Can you explain to me what happened?" Anda ask the intern.

"Sorry doctor, I forgot to give the patient his medication," the intern says.

"What! Do you realize that due to your negligence, this patient almost died?" Anda shout.

"Yes, I know doctor, I apologize," the intern answers.

"If you want to apologize, apologize to the patient and his family, understand!" Anda say.

"Okay, doctor," the intern replies.

Anda sigh exhaustedly as she have been working for almost 22 hours that day, and with an intern who still doesn't seem to understand anything.

"Anda," Atom arrives.

"Yes, what do you want, Atom?" Anda ask.

"Have you eaten?" Atom asks.

"Not yet," Anda reply.

"Come with me to the room. Mer has sent food for us," Atom says.

"Okay," Anda respond.

The two of them walk to Atom's room.

"Are you okay?" Atom asks.

"Look at my face, do I look okay?" Anda ask.

"Hmm, all of our faces look like ghosts. Everyone looks tired," Atom says, laughing.

"I'm just tired of dealing with patients and that intern," Anda say.

"It's normal, you act like you've never made a mistake," Atom replies.

"I never made a mistake before," Anda say.

"That is bullshit. I remember when we first started as interns here, you pushed a dead body into the operating room instead of the morgue," Atom says, laughing.

"Oh, that was just a little mistake. Besides, I thought the patient wasn't dead yet," Anda explain.

"Enough with that Let's eat," Atom says.

But suddenly, the sirens sound, indicating a new patient has arrived.

"To our doctors, Dr. Anda Dr. Atom, and Dr. Noon, please come to the emergency room."

"Oh, they called our names, let's go now," Anda say.

"Let's go," Atom replies.

Anda and Atom run to the emergency room, where Noon is already there.

"What's going on, Noon?" Anda ask.

"A patient is coming," Noon replies.

"What kind of patient?" Atom asks.

"I heard earlier that the patient was abused," Noon replies.

"Okay, let's wait," Anda say.

After a few minutes of waiting, an ambulance enters the emergency room.

"Can I have the patient's information?" Anda ask.

"The patient's name is Lookaew Marissa. 26 years old. She was abused by her husband."

Deng.....

Anda are stunned to hear the words from the duty officer. The name and age of the patient are very familiar to her.

"Anda!! Help us," Noon shouts.

Anda snap out of it and run towards Noon.

She see a thin woman covered in bruises and blood all over her body.

"What happened to you?" Noon asks.

"Do you know who she is?" Anda ask.

"No I don't who is she?" Noon asks.

"Lookaew Marissa," Anda say.

"What?" Noon is surprised.

"Oh yes, this is Lookaew," Atom adds.

"So she's the patient abused by her husband," Noon says.

Ting.........

Suddenly, the medical machine beeps. Lookaew's heart stops beating.
