Kate's P.O.V
Rolling over I expected to be welcomed by Nick's heat but felt the cold empty sheets against my skin. Pouting a little I got up pulling one of Nick's button up shirts on before making my way to the kitchen.
The sight before me how ever immediately took the pout off my face replacing it with a shy smile. He was cooking over the stove with his back turned towards me. Having no shirt on and sweat pants that hung off his hips perfectly gave me a front row view of his muscles as he messed with the food in front of him.
"Happy 2 year anniversary," I mumbled against his back wrapping my arms around his waist.
"Happy 2 years to you too baby," he said turning and giving me a quick kiss.
After we ate breakfast which was amazing we went to settle on the couch to cuddle before we start our day.
"So what do you have planned today?" He asked giving me a peck on my temple.
"Well, I have to meet up with a guy from an art gallery on the other side of town. But when I get back we can have movie night and celebrate our anniversary," I offered.
"Sounds good to me baby."
"You're uh, you're dad called," he added quietly then coughed rubbing the back of his neck.
"And I don't care," I scoffed.
"He still doesn't like me," he chuckled.
"Good, maybe I don't want him to like you," I grinned trying to be playful.
After talking a bit more I went and got dressed, ready to head out the door for my meeting.
"Nick, I'm heading to the meeting," I yelled making sure he heard me.
"Please, be safe," he mumbled into my neck after wrapping his arms around me.
"You tell me that every time," I giggled when he started tickling me.
"Yeah but I mean it," he said softly.
"I love you, I don't know what I would do without you," he added.
"I love you too," I said giving him a hug before going and getting in my car.
I personally loved to drive. It was so relaxing to see all the sights and get out of the house.
Going through the green light the last thing I heard was a horn and the screeching of tires.
Then black.

(Flash back)
"Hey, I'm glad you could meet up with me," Nick said smiling brightly.
"Hey, yea me too," I said shyly.
"What do you want to drink? My treat," he asked getting up.
"Are you sure? Cause I can buy my own," I rushed.
"Then how is this going to be classified as a date if I don't pay?" He said with a cocky smile.
"A mocha frap. with chocolate drizzle please kind sir," I said faking a British accent.
"What ever you want ma lady," he said copying the same accent.
Now that I think about it this is the perfect time to admire him. A 6'2 slim but built figure, a nice tan, chocolate brown hair with the perfect amount of facial hair. A white v-neck shirt accompanied by dark washed jeans and white converse. He still looks like a god in such simple clothing.
"So, what do you do for a living?" I asked once he got back with our drinks.
"Well, I am a CEO of my own company," he said looking at me kind of confused. But why? And wait what?!
"No way! And why are you looking at me like that?" I added confused.
"Mostly everybody knows who I am," he said.
"Oh, I guess I don't really pay attention to famous people," I said shyly.
"So what do you do for a living?"
"Well right now I am doing two things. One is I work at bar the second I do art. My art brings in actually quite a bit of money now that people are requesting pieces for parties and such."
"Ah, I love art maybe I can stop by one day and you can show me some," he said questioningly.
"Uh, yea sure that would be great, I'm actually working on a few pieces."

"I had a good time, thank you for my drink and all," I said looking down to hide my blush again.
"Kate, don't hide your blush it's cute," he said tilting my head back up. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to my cheek.
"Until we meet again, my princess," he said softly before leaving me in a haze.
Author's Note
Okay so there is the second chapter I hope you like it. I would have had this chapter done yesterday but my phone got taken away because it was on silent.
