"Let's go home," Seungcheol murmured as he held Jeonghan close as his arms.

"Home?" Jeonghan looked up at Seungcheol, his voice tinged with surprise but also a hint of delight.

Seungcheol nodded, a gentle smile playing on his lips. Yes, we've got to celebrate.

"Celebrate?" Jeonghan's eyes widened, his free hand instinctively touching his stomach, where moments ago he had felt their baby move for the first time.

Seungcheol chuckled softly. "Yes, why not? It's a special occasion."

Jeonghan's surprise turned into delight. "You're celebrating the first time our baby moved?" His voice was full of wonder.

Seungcheol's expression softened. "Of course," he affirmed, his gaze fixed warmly on Jeonghan. "It's a milestone we should cherish."

Jeonghan smiled, his fingers entwining with Seungcheol's. "What about your classes?" he asked.

"We'll catch up," Seungcheol assured him, gently squeezing Jeonghan's hand as they began walking down the corridor.

"And your practice?" Jeonghan inquired, his steps matching Seungcheol's.

"I'll talk to my coach," Seungcheol replied, his tone reassuring.

And your part-time job?

"It's evening, so I can manage," Seungcheol said, turning to see Jeonghan's playful expression.

Jeonghan grinned mischievously. "You would be going?!" he teased.

Seungcheol shook his head, affection in his eyes. "Nope. Today's a day off for everything."

"Good," Jeonghan said, his smile widening. He leaned into Seungcheol's side, walking hand in hand towards their home while the whole onlookers stared.

As Seungcheol stood in the kitchen, the aroma of baking cake filled the air. He had asked Jeonghan earlier what he wanted to eat, and the Omega had requested (less)/ ordered(more) a cake. With careful precision, Seungcheol had mixed the ingredients, poured the batter into the cake tin, and now placed it into the preheated oven.

Once the cake was set to bake, Seungcheol removed his oven mitts and walked over to a small drawer tucked in the corner of the living room. From it, he retrieved a worn journal, its pages filled with memories and event from years past. Sitting down at the kitchen table, he opened the journal and picked up a pen.

As Jeonghan curiously approached Seungcheol, he leaned over to see what the Alpha was so carefully writing in the journal.

"What are you writing?" Jeonghan asked.

"Today's date!" Seungcheol replied with a smile.

"Today's date?" Jeonghan chuckled softly, leaning closer to get a better look.

"Yeah," Seungcheol nodded, his eyes crinkling with affection. "I have to remember it for the rest of my life."

Seungcheol's words too beautiful yet too heavy for the Omega. He couldn't help but reflect on his journey thus far. Raised in a family devoid of parental love - a father who was a distant figure, more myth than reality, and a mother whose disapproving eyes carved deep wounds into his young heart. From a young age, he had been reminded of his Omega status as if it were a blemish, a stain that needed to be hidden away.

His journey into adulthood hadn't been kind either. Jeonghan had grown up believing he was unworthy of genuine affection. The false promises of love from his previous Alpha reinforced this belief. Jeonghan had tried to be what was expected, to mold himself into someone worthy of affection, only to be met with disappointment and abandonment.
