Walking with the other teenages who is all dressed the same all in grey Abnegation is my faction the selfless that is why we dress in grey. Today is testing day were they see in which faction we belong to.

When someone is born in Abnegation not meany leave but there are some how do. Only two years go Caleb and Beatris Prior left Caleb went to Erudite and Beatris went to Dauntless and four years ago my brother Tobias left for the Dauntless. The day before he left he told me he might not came back well thats that my father was mad he left. I still remember the day Tobias came back from the aptitude test he said I might not came back. I remember I told him it's ok if you want to leave I will be ok and the next day was the choosing ceremony he choose Dauntless. I was glad that he left he got out of our faction.

When I arrived at the school with my head down to make myself smallier. I am small and slim with long dark brown hair. Many people don't look at the kids from Abnegation because we should not draw attention to ourselves. Classe are cut in half today which is doesn't bother me. I was waiting with the other sixteen yearold. I was lost in my own world waiting for my name to becalled. Rosemary Eaton the woman called I stood up and walked to woman who told to go the last room. As I walked in to room were a Dauntless woman was stand. Well sit the woman said I am Tori she said as I sat down the chair were Tori was busy with the camtire. Here Tori said handing me a a blue looking liquid what is it I asked bottoms up she said.

I wake up in a room full of mirrors there was a knife and a block of cheese choose a voice said. Why I asked there was braking from behind me I turned rond to see dog stand there. Choose the voice said again I grab the block of cheese and give to the dog. When a little girl appeared the dog went after her as the little girl start to run. Run after them as I tackle the dog in to the floor. I wake up in the same room with Tori by campater well done you got Abnegation she as I got and left. As I walked home thinking about tomorrow and what it has to bring.

The way home felt longer today maby because I didn't want to go home. When I reached my house I looked at the front door as I opened the door I saw my father sitting in the living room. What was your faction he asked as I came in the room. I looked down didn't want to answer I asked you a question he said. Abnegation I said quietly good now go he said walked up to my room were I looked at my brothers bedroom door. I opened the door to Tobias old room and walked in the only thing that is in here is a bed and a desk. Looked inside the closets it's just like every thing in the room there is nothing in here. I sat on floor remembering the conversation I had with him that day. He just came from the test and went to his room I wanted to knock but decided to give some space. That there was a meeting down stairs with the other leaders I was busy in my room with homework. When I heard the sound af a belt hitting skin. I waited for my Father to go back down stairs as I wanted to Tobias room and knock came in I heard him say. As I opened the door to see him picking the broken things on the floor. Tobias I said as came in he looked up as finsed clean up. Are okay I asked him yes he said. Tobias turned rond to looked at me he took my hand and lead me to bed were I sat down.

Tobias bent down so he can at my leve Rose he said you don't have to worry he said but you need to listen to me carefully. I might not came back to tomorrow I am sorry Rose but can't stay here he said. I looked in to his eyes it's ok you need to leave it's the only way you befree I said. When does a twelve yearold think about this stuff he laughed. In four years when it's your turn to choose you must leave you hear me he said Rosemary are you listening to me. Yes I am and I wil leave don't worry Rose you wil see me again you must be strong.

Tobias always called me Rose it would make father mad when he did. The next day were on our way to chooseing ceremony were Tobias would choosing were he would go. I remember when I saw Tobias going up and to get his knife and cut his hand were he hold it over the one of balls. His blood drip on the hot coals Dauntless was yelled by Max one of the learders of Dauntless. Tobias is first person the transfer out of Abnegation I saw father looked pale and anger.

I remember it like it was yesterday I fealt my tears on my cheeks. As I closed the door behind me and walked to my room. As I opened my door my father Marcus was there why were you in his room he snarled at me. His hand came down on my cheek with such force I fell as I was about to get up I heard his belt cameing down on my back over and over again. I didn't move if dat wasn't all his foot came down on my ribs. After that he left I just layde on the floor in to much pain to move.
