"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot speaking. We have arrived in Seoul , South Korea, the temperature outside is 70° Fahrenheit . Please remain seated until informed otherwise."
Hearing the announcement broke her out of her trance. Feeling excited as well as a little sad , she started looking for her bag so as to make a rapid exit as soon as possible.
Lily was not a fan of large gatherings especially when there was a struggle of coming outside the plane.
This was her first trip outside of her country and a solo one on top of that so as a matter of fact she was a bit nervous.
Holding her bag tight around her she started deboarding the plane.
Her mind was completely filled with all the things she had planned of doing , just putting them in the list of most to least important. After getting a taxi she first went to her hotel to rest and plan the rest of the day.
"Room no. 2056 ", she was mumbling trying to find the right room when she saw a person striding in the opposite direction , she stopped to ask about the room.
The man or woman, she didn't know because the person was covered from head to toe.
"I don't work here lady but It's down this lane , to the right ." The person retorded and moved past her in a hurry.
What a weirdo, she thought to herself and got to her room.
The room was really great seeing as it was a last minute reservation. This trip was supposed to be a couple's trip , Lily and her boyfriend Dylan ,who had basically planned everything .
This was a dream trip for the both of them , well atleast for Lily it was , but then that a*hole went and cheated on her.
Then Lily , after a lot of crying and then persuasion from her friends , decided to go on this solo trip of a lifetime. This was a huge step for her, but right now she was just lying on the bed watching TV (so much for a huge step!).
"Heyy Alex , before you start bombarding me with questions , yes I have reached safely and that includes the hotel room , No I've not been crying, well , for the most part and yes of course I love you." Lily raced through in a single breath.
Her best friend Alex had called wanting to know how she was doing.
Alex was laughing with her answers and continued with asking her last question, "so are you out exploring the great city?" , to this Lily replied that she was just watching the TV."Well , that's a bummer , I thought my bestie was smart enough to actually go out and enjoy rather than wasting away her money like that. You know you can watch all the dramas here as well , what was the point of going then?" , Alex asked .
After a lot of debate between the two friends, Lily decided to go out and try to forget how the trip was supposed to be and try to make a new and much better trip.
Going out of the sanctuary of her room, Lily felt a bit scared but was determined to get through this and have fun.
Instead of taking a taxi , She went on foot going towards a huge crowd that was gathered outside of a building.
There were many people, mainly girls shouting names she had never heard before.
Lily went around the back with only one or two people and just as she was about to ask someone, she saw a guy with all black clothes , a black hat and a mask covering his face, coming out of the back door of the building.
His eyes were wide in shock, he just stood there not even breathing, hoping Lily wouldn't see him and be on her merry way.
But unfortunately, Lily had seen him and was just as paralysed trying to contemplate her next movement.
The guy was wondering why this girl was not shouting, hugging or even saying anything to him and was just as speechless as he was .
Did she not recognise me or what! She should've though, considering my eyes are out in the open and not behind the big shades.
What am I even thinking, I should get going before ..."Excuse me sir! Do you happen to know what is going on over there?" , Lily had got out of her state and spoken in a broken Korean pointing towards the crowd.
It took a while for the guy to fully understand the meaning of her sentence, he laughed, amused by her ignorance and just replied , "you're joking right , that was real fun but I should get going now , I AM VERY VERY LATE. " , ending the last line slowly and loudly in English , hoping it gets to her not so perfect korean understanding brain.
Lily scoffed at the arrogance of the 'all Black guy' , moving towards the front she now asked one of the overly excited girl who told her they were all waiting to see a glimpse of any of the member of BTS.
Pretending she knows who or what BTS is she wished her luck and took a taxi to the nearest cafe , that was all for walking today.
The cafe did a great job in lifting her mood. It was the cutest cafe she had ever seen , there were lots of couples (which was a tad depressing) but all that aside , it was a great place to plan out the rest of her day.
She ordered an iced americano and plate of noodles wanting to know the hype of the drink.
She planned on visiting the 'great tourist attractions' , as said in the post on the internet.
While sipping on the god awful drink , she heard someone talking about 'BTS' again .
God! This BTS is freaking everywhere.Trying to eavesdrop on the conversation, she figured out it was a band of boys and apparently these girls knew all of their today's schedule, stalker much, or maybe it's given on the website, who knows?
These girls were real crazy about this particular person, Suga, all they could talk about is how good looking he was and was their bias wrecker.
That's a strange name....what! Does he like sugar or something?. She wondered.
Not minding anymore of their obsessive behaviour, Lily went on to pay the bill , complementing on the noodles, even the americano and took the ride to the first destination of the day.
Let's have an awesome day!So, this was it for the first chapter.
How was it?
Good/not good/the worst.
Thank you for reading and do let me know what you think of it.
