The sound of their parents taking about business, Seokmin and Jisoo being sickeningly sweet to each other, Chaemin playing with her cat plushie, and Chan wandering his eyes around the fancy restaurant they're at like a child. That's the current situation of the Lee family at the moment while waiting for the Chois to arrive.
Yes, this is the day Chan will meet his soon-to-be-partner.
Ever since his brother told him about the arrange marriage thing, it already felt like the clock was attending a sprint marathon, and the goal was for this day to come.
If that makes sense, seriously.
Almost like the world is mocking him knowing how hard he prays for this day not to come, even though it would.

His mom apologized to him for doing that though, she reasoned out that it was for the good future of their family. She even said that she felt bad for Chan because he doesn't seem to have the plan to find a new partner, so they immediately accept the offer.
It's unfunny if his mom told him it was a joke.

Because if the fate would give him a chance, he would love to have a person to share his life with.
It's just out of his priorities for now.
However, he would not consider this as fate. This is shotgun dinner with rich strangers.
Well, Chan only sees the photos of the old chois, seems like their children were also a private individuals, that's why he have zero idea whether the other person was a man or a woman.
"Where are they now by the way?" Seokmin asked, looking around as if he's trying to sneak out
Mr. Lee shrugged his shoulders at the question "I don't know, got stuck in the heavy traffic, maybe?"
"Papa, what are we doing here?" Chaemin looked up to him with a curious eyes
"Meeting someone, I guess..." He muttered under his breath, he can't tell her that they'll be meeting his "future partner"
"Papa..."
Chan was about to answer when a group of three people walk towards their table, the two being Mr. and Mrs. Choi, and one guy who seemed to be same age as him.
"Hello, Lee family!" The old man bowed, his aura seemed powerful, if you ask Chan
The family, including the little brunette bowed to the other family, though Chaemin seemed clueless as to why they are bowing to the strangers.
"It was wonderful having you in this dinner, Choi family." said Mr. Lee
"It's our pleasure, Lee family."
The two families sat down when Mr. Lee gave them a signal to do so, then the old people had a little small talk before they face each other in a formal manner.
"Alright, shall we introduce ourselves?" Mr. Choi asked, smiling at them at little
"We should. This is my wife." He pointed out Mrs. Lee who offered them a warm smile "And these are my sons, Seokmin and Chan." The two males nod at the Chois respectfully "Last but not the least, Jisoo, my son-in-law, He is Seokmin's husband, and this is Chaemin, my granddaughter, She is Chan's daughter." Mr. Lee's voice sounded enthusiastic introducing Jisoo and Chaemin, making the brothers grin widen
