THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG

Covering her collar bone injury Srishti went to office but as soon as her friends saw her they doubted something is going on in her life because after she is married her behavior changed a lot she doesn't smile she is always in constant fear they figured out something is going on which Srishti is trying to cover up but today when they saw her wound they thought it might be something related to her husband Ankita a good friend of her took Srishti to a side and talked to her,

Ankita: Hey babe, is everything fine with you? what's with the band aid?

Srishti: hi yeah everything is fine its just nothing a small injury will be fine in no time.

Ankita: Can I ask you a personal question Srishti? If you don't mind but I want to know the truth?

Srishti: Yeah sure go ahead ask me.

Ankita: does this band aid has to do anything with your husband? I want to know the truth whatever it is we are with you open up baby. after the wedding your behavior changed a lot you are in constant fear you don't talk to anyone and you are avoiding Srikanth. why on earth would you do that? I think you had a thing for him why are behaving like this Srishti?

Srishti: Yes, this band aid has something to do with my husband but its just between me and him and every girl changes after wedding because I have responsibilities after going home so I have to make sure I do here everything well so that I can go early and coming to Srikanth I am married now so I cant engage much in these kinds of non sense, its for his best that I avoid him.

Ankita: babe what has gotten into you? how come your husband does this you and you are okay with it? come on there is so much more you want to tell but you are not saying it?

Srishti: that's enough you don't understand how marriage works so better don't interfere.

Srishti's POV: how can I tell her that she is right I have a lot going on I am on constant fear but I cant discuss that with anyone because if I discuss it then it will be my fault every time he touches me I feel like killing myself, but wait why I am not killing myself If I kill myself then he wont touch me then there will not be any suffering. I just need to kill myself after searching for a bit I found a knife and few sleeping pills doctor suggested me I will first cut myself and then take all these pills at once then I will be gone for good and took the knife placed at the wrist and cut myself the pain it caused is so immense but it felt light compared to what I am going through so next I took 6-8 sleeping pills at a time and drank a glass of water within 5mins everything turned out blur and smiled as this will be my last time in pain.

Srikanth's POV: Behavior of Srishti changed drastically she is totally avoiding me that kills me because I thought I am a very good friend of hers I completely miss her smile the day she came to office after her wedding I have never seen her smile there is a fear constantly suddenly Ankita comes to my room and says Srikanth "Srishti is in hospital she didn't come to office when I called her husband picked up and said its little serious I am going to see her want to join" I am terrified as hell soon me and Ankita reached hospital and I saw her husband standing near her door there is some negativity around this person I just felt very uncomfortable meeting him he told us its just low BP and sleep deprivation, but when we went to see her there is a bandage dressed on her wrist and I saw a band aid on collar bone and on the head when we asked about that her husband told she fainted from steps because of low BP that's the result of her wounds. I wanted to talk to her but she is still not conscious its killing me to see her in this condition. I am not so sure that its an accident I raised this doubt with Ankita

Srikanth: Ankita I don't think its because of some Low BP accident there is so much more there is something he is hiding.

Ankita: its exactly true come with me ( took to a corner place far away from her husband) the other day she had that injury on the collar bone when she came to office and I asked her directly does your husband has anything to do with it? and she accepted saying its between us to deal can you believe it?

Srikanth: what that mull headed nut did this to her? I will kill him, I am okay of not being with her until she is happy but once she is in pain I will not dare to think twice.

Ankita: You really love her she really missed a gem of a person like you and stuck with him he is abusing her but we don't know if its the truth does it happen frequently or what kind of abuse he is still doing if we take any step without thinking he might hurt her even more. we have to deal with this slowly but definitely getting to know the truth.

Srikanth: yeah I do miss her she completely ignored me it kills me but if she is suffering I cant tolerate that shall we speak to the doctor when his mull headed husband is not there?

Ankita: yeah that's a good idea why don't we do one thing I will go to her and distract her husband and talk to him in the mean time you go to the doctor and ask exactly what happened.

Srikanth: that's great lets get to work.

As soon as Ankita reached Srishti's room and started talking to her and her husband Srikanth found the perfect opportunity to get to the doctor and he asked her about the situation

Srikanth: hello doctor, I am Srikanth I work with the patient Srishti can you tell me what exactly happened to her when we asked her husband he told her its a low BP accident but that doesn't look like that, can you please help us I think she is not telling us something that is bothering her.

Doctor: Srishti??? you mean the suicide case in the room 202, you are right its not an accident its a suicide the girl committed suicide cutting her wrist and taking sleeping pills we thought we couldn't save her because of her heavy dosage and blood loss but we found the correct blood group on time and her life is saved. she is in chronic depression she needs help and by looking at her body its evident she has been subjected to abuse constantly.

earth shattered once when Srikanth got to know about the suicide? she is in so much pain that she want to kill herself tears started rolling down and wiping out he wanted to learn more

Srikanth: ( with weak voice) what kind of abuse do you think is going on Doctor?

Doctor: IT may be anything Physical abuse, rape or domestic violence we cant say it only she can tell what happened with her I think she will be in conscious in an hour why don't you speak to her.

Srikanth: I will definitely speak to her mam, Please don't tell her husband we asked about her this may not go well for Srishti.

Doctor: Don't bother he is very useless the moment he brought her there is no sympathy in his eyes you better take care of her.

Srikanth: Sure doctor.

once he's done Srikanth waved Ankita and they both left the hospital after knowing the truth both Ankita and Srikanth are devastated and want to know the details and protect her at all costs.
