Chapter 1

Jesy wake up, tamara said.

No! I replied.

Come on Birthday girl i'm making chocolate chip pancakes, she said in a sing song voice.

I'm up..I'm up, I replied in a sleepy voice.

Works everytime, she smirks while leaving my room.

I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth. After, brushing I stared at my reflection.

18 today jesy,....18.

Jesy the pancakes are getting cold, tamara yelled.

I walk down stairs to the breakfast table and as promised some chocolate chip pancakes made, and ready to be eaten.

After, breakfast tamara and I get ready for work.
We work at a little ice cream shop called" Lily's Delicious Ice cream." My mom is good friends with the owner, so she helped us out.

Morning lady's, Jeff our boss said.

Morning, we replied.

So jesy...I've heard you turn 18 today. How do you feel?

I'm happy, I said with a smile.

Good, he said. Well let's get this show on the road. He then wlked over to the door, and turned the closed sign to open.

The day went off like usually. Except, jeff calls me into his office.

Hey jesy I was wondering if you don't mind staying a little longer than usual today?

Of course not, I lied.

Thanks, he said.

I didn't really mind. Plus, we do need the money for this months rent.

It was 5 o' clock now, which usually means time to go home. But I'm staying till 7 tonight. So I didn't bother checking out.
Bye jesy, tamara said. See you at home!

Drive safe, I yelled. But she was already out the door.
She was in a hurry.I wonder why?, I thought.

The thought was then erased when I heared a costumer come in. *Ding*
