Chapter 2

7pm soon came by fast. I was ready to sleep in my warm bed. Bye jeff. Bye kiddo drive safe, he yelled.

It took me 15 mins. To get home. I was just glad I finally got here.
I search for my keys in my not so organized bag. Unlocked the door only to find a pitch black living room.

T, are you home, I said still standing in the doorway looking for the light switch. Aha! Found it.

Surprise! Everyone yelled.I almost had a heart attack. But, then I started to comprehend what was going on they threw me a surprise party. Now I get why tamara was in such a hurry.
Thank you, I said with a weird smile knowing i was still in shock. I started hugging my sister and my lovely mother. I then hugged my friends. Tamara was the last one.

Best for last, she said laughing.

You got me so good, T. I know but it was for my bestfriend. Thank you, I said for the millionth time now.
I started by opening my gifts. I choose to open a medium silver box first. To:Jesy

It was from my oldest sister. I don't think you should open mine here she suddenly said nerveously. I started to put it down when my mom spoke up. Nonesense, ellie we are gonna open it to let everyone see what you got your sister. I grabbed the box again in orders of my mother. I looked at my sister and then at mom. She looked eager to know what was in the box, but so was I.
I opened the top and it revealed 3 bottles of Victoria's secret perfume. Thank you ellie, I said happy as can be. She seemed releaved. Your welcome, she said.
Wait, my mom shouted. There is one more layer under this box. She got the rapping tissue out and reveild what looked like clothing. Oh my!
Yes, you guest it. It was lingerie. Everyone was quiet and just staring at that dam thing like if it was an alien or something. (Lol)
Well that's enough of present seeing my mom said while placing the clothing back to the box.I can tell Ellie was embarrassed by the way she kept looking down. I then jumped up from the couch and said, lets cut the cake. I really loved the fact that they through me a birthday surprise but I was really tired and wanted this day to end.
All of a sudden everyone starts singing "Happy Birthday" while my mom walked towards me with a big cake already lite. I wouldn't be surprised if she dropped it like she did with my 14th & 16th birthday cake.
Make a wish love, she said while keeping a good eye on the cake.

I wish good things can soon come my way.
And I blew all my 18 Candles.

The night was full with laughter,dancing and even story telling. But then again it always ends up with my mom talking about our childhood memories and not the cute ones but, the embarrassing moments. It was now 11pm and everyone was starting to leave. Thanks for the gift Ellie, I said while hugging her. Use it wisely, she said whispered it in my ear. Well thats if mom hasn't grabbed a pair of scissors and has gone all Edward scissor hands on it. We both laughed and said ower goodbyes.

You need any help washing the dishes , T. No im fine you go say your goodbyes to your family. Okay, thank you again for all of this I hope this didn't leave you broke. Are you kidding me it was fun she said. Especially, when your mom talked about you licking her nose when you wanted her to wake up, So worth it. We both laughed. Okay well im gonna go say bye to my mom and uncle. Okay, im gonna head to bed now anyway, she said drying her hands.

Heey, mom you guys are enjoying that cake. Uhmm... they both said while nodding their heads. Well, I wanna say thank you for clearing your schedules for me. Jesy, I would skip Dozens of Wheel of Fortune shows just to be with you, my uncle said.

Yea, but only because you finally figured out a way to record them, my mom said smirking. I couldn't help but laugh. He stood up and Said he was gonna start the car. Thank you again, I yelled while he walked out the door.
My uncle has always been a father figure to me ever since my father past away when I was 3.
I know we said no more opening presents. But, I wanted to see your reaction, Mamas.
She handed me a white envelope with my name on the front. I opened it thinking it was money but it was way better then money it was 2 tickets to a One Direction concert this Friday and backstage passes for a meet and greet. Which was 6 days away. I have always wanted to see them live, even if I don't say it often.
I hugged my mom so tight, I thought I was choking her but she was just gasping for air since she was laughing relief came over me. Take care love, my mom said before walking out the door.
I was so excited I don't know if it was to meet them or how I was gonna tell tamara the good news tomorrow. But im absolutely sure it was the first one.
