Winter's P O V :
I was pretty bored, finals were coming up and I honestly couldn't care less. The only thing keeping me awake was probably the hang outs we had after school since it was nearly impossible to stay down in the dumps with those dumb wits around (A/N : awee he has nicknames for his friends!!)
I yawned as quietly as humanely possible yet kestrel seemed to have super hearing because she gave me a glare. I frowned back at her and I swear I heard a snicker behind me, which I could only assume came from qibli.
"What are you laughing at, sandsnorter" I whisper to qibli without turning around.
"Excuse me??" The voice replied.
Winter turned around to see a girl with brown curly hair with lively tree bark brown eyes. She was wearing a yellow shirt with green jeans and was holding what seemed to be a map.
"Oh..my bad, thought you were someone else" I say shortly, I'm not really in the mood for small talk.
"Psh yeah, someone named 'sandsnorter'?" The girl asked grinning wildly, she spoke with a weird accent as if she had just recently learnt english "as if!"
"Did someone call me-" Qibli said looking in our direction confused
"Woah never mind" the girl said
"We're still in class! Please SHUT UP!" I hissed to them as I felt kestrel's glare rest on us.
This worked for a while surprisingly, Until
"Whats your guys name?" The girl asked
"I'm the one and only, THE qibli" qibli said grinning
I sighed "...winter"
"Neat, I'm wren" the girl said
"I haven't seen you around here, are you new?" Qibli asked curiously, yknow the saying 'curiosity killed the cat'? I think it should apply to my stupid face best friend instead, he asks so many questions and has way too much blackmail material for my liking..
"Yeah, transfer from valor" wren said doing a little bow of her head
"The transfer students are here? How come we didn't get an announcement" qibli said
"Kestrel is the one in charge of announcements this month. Of course we didn't get an announcement" I said grimacing
"Oh..yeah.." Wren glared at kestrel "I have a weird feeling I've seen her before.."
'Do you get deja vu? Do you get deja vu? yeah' I may have been spending too much time on tik tok, that sound is STUCK in my head.
"Really? that's interesting" qibli said making a face.
"I don't know, she probably just has a common place face" I said shrugging
