A month had passed since I last saw Paige and our interactions. Since that day, I had not received a message from her, and I did not bother to message her either. Just seeing updates about her on TikTok and social media, everything was now silent about the days we spent together. I couldn't help but feel curious about what she was doing now. Did she still remember me? I mumbled to myself, feeling a tinge of sadness.

"Evee!! Come down," my mom called me from downstairs.

"Yes, mom, coming," I replied.

"Hey, Eve, baby, I need to tell you something," she said, looking a bit nervous.

"Yes, what is it, mom? Is something wrong?" I asked curiously.

"Eve, I'm dating someone. I'm sorry, my daughter, she treats me so well that I couldn't resist," she said, looking scared.

"Mother, I'm so happy for you! Don't apologize because I want you to be happy, okay? I'm so glad, mom," I smiled and hugged her tightly.

"But Eve, she's a girl," my mom looked at me.

"What? Mom? Is that possible?" I was shocked.

"I don't know, Eve. I just fell in love with her actions towards me. She's from Edina, Minnesota, and she wants us to go there," my mom told me everything.

"WHAT? MINNESOTA??? MOMMY! MARRY HER!" I jumped and agreed with my mother, feeling so happy and excited.

"What's with that girl, pack your things now, honey," my mom said.

I rushed to my room, feeling so happy and excited as I packed my things and recorded a vlog for my TikTok video.

"Paigeeeee, I'm gonna see you again!" I muttered to myself, excitedly.

(A month later, it's finally our flight.) I continued my vlog, and as soon as we landed in Minnesota and met my mom's girlfriend, she introduced me to her.

"Hello, love," my mom said.

"Love, you finally made it. I missed you," she kissed my mom, and I felt so happy.

"Is this your girl? Daughter, nice to meet you, Eve. Your mom tells me everything about you," she smiled at me.

"Hello, yes, I'm Eve. Thank you for making my mom happy," I smiled and hugged her.

"And Eve, since you're living here with us, I'm going to enroll you in school, and later tonight, we're going to my family's house so that I could introduce you both," she told us, making me smile.

"Now go to your room, Eve. I designed that for you," she added, and I got up to see my room.

"Wow! My room looked so big and beautiful. Oh my god! An iPad?? MacBook?? She was hella rich," I said, widening my eyes.

I opened the things my mother's girlfriend got me, and they were cool. I used the laptop to edit my vlog and posted it on my TikTok. Within seconds, my TikTok vlog got a lot of views, hearts, and comments. I felt happy and started thinking about Paige, deciding to enroll at UConn, the school she attended.

"I'll take a nap. I'm so tired after our travel here," I said as I took a nap, turned on the AC, and wrapped myself in my blanket. The soft hum of the air conditioner lulled me into a peaceful slumber, dreaming of the exciting adventures that awaited me in this new chapter of my life.
