Chapter 92: Birthday Surprises

(Author's note: Today is my birthday, so I wanted to write a special chapter about (Y/N)'s birthday. If it's your birthday, you can read this chapter. The timeline, however, will remain the same for the story.)

After the Date with the three Pie sisters, you were in your room with Twilight sleeping in the same bed together. The other girls went over to Pinkie's for a sleepover. You weren't aware though that your girlfriends were planning your birthday tomorrow. You're going to be in for a big surprise.

7 am

It's now morning. You were sleeping soundly. Twilight was awake, however, and she was staring at you with a blissful look. Then she quietly attempts to wake you up.

Twilight: (quietly) Babe, it's time to wake up.

You didn't wake up. You were still sleeping.

Twilight: (quietly) Babe, it's a special day today. It's time to wake up.

(Y/N): (mumbling) Five more minutes, please.

Twilight decides to wake you up, but she approaches it differently. She tilts your head and she leans in for a kiss. It was a sweet kiss. Once she stops kissing you, you softly smile and slowly open your eyes to see her blissfully smiling at you.

Twilight: Good morning, sleepyhead. (giggles)

(Y/N): Good morning, my princess.

She nuzzles your cheek and kisses you on the lips again. Then the kiss was broken.

(Y/N): So how'd my princess sleep?

Twilight: It was the best sleep I've had in a while. But you were sleeping so peacefully.

You chuckle.

(Y/N): So why'd you wake me up?

Twilight: Well, do you know what day it is?

You thought for a moment.

(Y/N): Is it our anniversary? Because I was planning something special for today.

Twilight: Babe, it's not even close to our anniversary, but I do appreciate that you were planning it out.

(Y/N): I wouldn't forget our anniversary.

Twilight: Well, it's not our anniversary, but it is someone's birthday today.

You thought about whose birthday it could be.

(Y/N): Is it yours and Sci-Twi's birthday?

Twilight: Nope.

(Y/N): Is it Sunset's birthday?

Twilight: Nope.

(Y/N): Rarity's is coming up. Is it her birthday?

Twilight: Not hers either.

You kept guessing names, but none of them were the right answer.

Twilight: Ok. Let me give you a hint. It's someone in this room.

You thought for a moment, and then it hit you. It was your birthday.

(Y/N): Oooohh. It's my birthday today, isn't it?

Twilight: Yes. I can't believe it took you that long to figure it out.

(Y/N): It actually didn't. I knew it was today. I just... purposely forget about that day.
