those three weeks passed quickly, it was only a day until the championship. it would be held in south korea, seoul. [name] had gotten back on her feet, doing better in training now. though, that mask of being the best wouldn't last for long.
she seemed to have gotten over being totally betrayed by satoru, and her past mistakes. she was very focused on her winning a medal for the school and her country.
while satoru was walking down the hall, going to the locker room to grab something. he heard the coach talking to the other people on the fencing team.
"[last name] was chosen to go to the championship game in korea, do not let anything get to her head. she's fair to ahead to let herself loose." the coach explained to everyone, she looked at everyone, with determined looks.
"japan must win a championship medal this year, or we'll have to wait until the spring for another one."
"yes, sensei." everyone said in unison, while they nodded their heads.
satoru began to continue walking down the hall, letting that small bit of information run through his head. 'don't let get anything through her head...' he wondered.
the championship would be in two days, that meant she would be leaving today. maybe he should apologize before she goes to the championship..
he pushed those thought aside, before going into the locker room. considering on seeing her later and apologizing. he grabbed his knee pads, putting them on before going back to the basketball court.

[name] already got everything she needed into the cab, that would get her and her coach to the airport. she already saw her mom and siblings earlier, so she was all ready to leave.
"are you all done?" the coach asked, as she had her head out of the window. looking at [name] as she just closed the trunk.
she breathed out deeply, before walking over. "yes, i am." she said, but suddenly, she felt someone grab her shoulders.
"wait, i really need to talk!"
[name] was spun around to see satoru, she scoffed, rolling her eyes as she looked at him. "you couldn't have picked a better time." she mumbled.
he exhaled deeply, looking at her. "i'm really sorry for-"
"save it." she interrupted, which made him surprised by what she said. his eyes widened, as he looked at her in confusion.
