it'd been a few days since satoru's whole fight, he would be unsuspended in two or more days. he's been having to 'lay low', so he wouldn't be seen wandering while during in suspension.

it was the evening in november, and [name] was sitting out on a park bench, watching her siblings play. she felt the snow begin to fall, it was only mid november, but it was already starting to snow. she listened as her siblings chased each other around the park, playing tag or hide and seek. she spaced out, before she suddenly felt the bench move a bit.

"a bit late for you guys to be out."

she looked over to see satoru, he was all bundled up. even though it wasn't even that cold yet. he had a scarf and jacket on.

"what about you? your out this late." [name] said, she turned back to watching her siblings.

"fair point." he muttered, he leaned against the bench. he looked at her siblings, silence filled the air, while they sat beside each other. there was a question that filled [name's] mind, back to their argument, she blurted some things about her family life. she wanted to know something about him.

"so.. since we're friends again, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? i kinda blurted everything about myself." [name] asked him, glancing over at him as she was a bit curious about him herself.

he looked back over at her, before bringing his arms on the bench. "i like digimon, a big fan. video games, basketball, and i like candy." he simply said.

"yeah, i think i could probably guess that. but do you like have any siblings?" [name] elaborated on what she meant, she leaned a bit forward, waiting for an answer.

satoru paused for a moment, he didn't really have an answer for that. "i don't have any siblings, most of my family tree, lives in kyoto. my parents, aren't really around if i'll be honest." he explained, talking about the topic actually made him think about it.

"oh, sorry.. i was being nosy." she apologized, feeling bad that she brought it up now.

"it's fine. i don't usually talk about it, the people that know are only shoko and suguru." he assured her, before signing quietly.

"my parents live in kyoto with the rest of my family, they just send me money every week or so. i never really see them, only on family holidays." satoru explained to her, he only had ever talked about this with his closest friends. did he already consider her one of them?

"wow.. so they just send you money and see you once every few months?" she muttered, thinking about his family issues. [name] glanced back over, seeing his facial expression.

"yeah, but it doesn't bug me that much. i've got a lot of freedom, but i don't wanna sound sad and sappy." he said, he started to act tough.

satoru began to get up from the bench, as he stretched a big, taking off his scarf. "i'll walk you guys home." he said to her, holding his hand out for her to take.

she took it, standing up. it's only been a few weeks since the injury, the cast was off, but she still felt some pain. she looked back over at the playground, seeing her siblings tired from the running.

"guys come on, we're going home!" she told them both, as they ran over to her.

"is that the fly!" shu pointed at satoru, grinning as he remembered him from the grocery store a few months ago.

"oh it's gojo!" sachi also pointed at him.

"i'm not a fly." the 'fly' murmured.

they eventually started their walk home, as the snow fell more and more. already covering the ground more and more as they walked through the streets. it was a quiet walk, until shu looked up at the two teens.

"are you two dating?" the little boy asked them both, while he held onto satoru's hand.

"what?"

"shu!"

the two teens looked down at the little boy, their faces a bit flushed from the embarrassment. sachi poked her head out, as she was beside [name]. "i was going to ask that too!"

"sachi!"

"what? we're both curious, you can't blame us!" sachi grinned, she pulled shu more forward on the street. they giggled as they ran off a little further.

[name] sighed, she rubbed her forehead, a bit annoyed by her siblings little assumptions. she turned back over to satoru, as she awkwardly smiled. "their- just kids.. so it's-"

"normal to assume stuff like that?" satoru finished her sentence, he was really affected by the kid's assumptions. he figured kids always did when they saw a guy and girl together.

the walk home was awkward, but they eventually made it to her house. the kids took off their shoes as they made their way inside the house.

"you wanna eat? there's some leftovers." [name] asked him, she walked through the hallway.

"i'll eat something, even though i already did. its honestly just an excuse for me not to go home." satoru explained, he followed her through the house. before they made their way to the dining room, where someone else was.

"[name], is this your friend?" her mother questioned, she looked at the boy in her house, while shu was hugging her leg.

[name] turned back to face him, stammering a bit. before she turned back to her mother. "yeah, this is my friend. he's kinda the one who got me suspended from school and from the training center, awhile ago." she explained, adding all the unnecessary parts in it.

her mother nodded, trying to connect the dots. "oh, so this is the boy you fought with?" she asked her daughter, looking at him up and down. "a pretty boy like this?"

satoru nodded, but then smiled as he placed his hand over his chest. "beautiful, gorgeous, and yes she did."

"drop it." she turned around, lightly hitting his chest.

he grunted form the hit, but nodded afterwards. "got it.." he muttered, leaning against the table.

"oh, well it's nice to meet you. don't fight in the kitchen please." her mother told them both, before she and shu began to head off for bed.

after she was gone, it was just the two of them in the kitchen. satoru looked over her way, as she began to go heat up some leftover dinner she had. "so that was your mom?" he leaned against the counter as she heated it up in the microwave.

"yeah, i hope you didn't mind meeting her." [name] said, while she took out the food in the microwave. she set it beside him, as she waited for him to eat it.

he picked it up, beginning to chow it down. he swallowed the food in his mouth, before saying what his thoughts were. "the last thing i though would happen to me during this friendship, was meeting your mom."

"why, is it because you and me were like enemies and wanted to like almost kill each other?"

"yeah definitely."
