I've been running for at least a week now. I'm tired, dehydrated, and hungry. I haven't slept or rested since I ran. I can't I'm too scared of being caught. So far I've stayed on no mans land. No mans land is a place for rouges who don't want to join a pack and just want to be free. Right now I'm almost out of a no mans land in beachfront, Georgia. After I cross the border into Florida I'll be in the worlds strongest pack, The Blood Paw Pack. It is THE most powerful pack that has ever existed, but it's also the most dangerous. This pack kills rouges on sight. Female rouges are not very common so they're not killed exactly on sight, instead they're questioned by the Alpha of the pack. Although the alphas form or "questioning" is torture. As I'm running I see the border. I stop running for the first time in days. I look around seeing if there's anyone running around patrol. When I don't see anyone I sprint across the border, hoping and praying that no one sees me, but as karma would have it, I'm being chased a few seconds later. I run faster as I hear growls from behind me, but obviously not fast enough. Soon I'm tackled and throw against a tree. I whine slightly at the pain in my ribs. I look up to see at least 5 warrior wolves growling at me. One of the wolfs radiate a lot of power, probably a beta.

"Shift rouge," he all but growls at me. If I shift I won't have any clothes. As if he senses my hesitation he takes off his shirt and throws me a pair of baggy shorts. I go behind a tree and shift.
"My name is Beta Mark. What are u doing on Blood Paw territory rouge?"
"I-I-I'm sorry I mean no harm to you or your pack. I swear I'll leave right away. I won't ever come back. Please! Just let me-" all of a sudden I was smacked really hard.
"Shut up you annoying little bitch! I'm taking to the alpha." Beta Mark screams at me. He then grabs my arms really tight. Well I'll probably have bruises later. I cringe away from him. I need to get away. I really don't want to die. I just needed to get to Africa to where there's no packs! I need to run. so I did the worst possible thing i could do. I swung around and kick the beta where the sun don't shine. As soon as he dropped to his knees I was gone. Not even a second later I heard a growl behind me. I look back behind me to see a brownish-red wolf with twigs in his fur. Oh no not now! I sprint faster just as I feel his breath on the back of my neck.
Just as I sprint faster I trip over a tree root. I groan from the ground. Then I hear Beta Mark and his warriors shift back. I slowly get up from the ground before he grabs me by my neck and lifts me off the ground. Beta Mark tightens his grip around my neck, cutting off my air supply. Black spots dance before my eyes. I see him pull his fist back getting ready to knock me out. He's probably going to take me to the dungeons and torture me before he kills me. If I'm lucky enough maybe if I beg they'll kill me quickly. I close my eyes as I see his fist move at lightening speed towards my face.
     Out of no where I hear an earth shattering growl, followed by a deep loud voice screaming, "MINE!!!" It was then I smelt the most delicious scent I've ever had the pleasure of smelling. It was a woodsy smell mixed with the smell of coffee and chocolate. Suddenly I'm dropped to the ground gasping for air and coughing my lungs out. I hear an angry growl before I see Beta Mark get pushed up a tree by a guy with black hair and a very muscular back. I couldn't see his face because of the fact that they were facing away from me. I whimper silently when I try to breathe again, only because it hurt so much. I see the man holding Beta Mark turn to look at me, dropping Beta Mark to the ground. I gasp loudly when I make eye contact with him. 'MATE!' I hear my wolf scream in my head. "Mate," I hear him whisper silently. Around us I heart the gasps from his warrior wolves, then they bow down. "Luna." They all say in sync. It took me a second before I realized that my mate was an Alpha. Well Oreos......this should be interesting...
