Hi there little bird.

Alex's POV

Dylan ended up falling asleep in my arms. I carefully pulled my arms away hoping I didn't wake him up. I walk out of the bedroom as quietly as I can. This kid still can't sleep without holding someone, I don't mind though he's my little brother. Even if we aren't blood related, we are brothers, so I have to protect him. Ethan doesn't care about Dylan at all. This has gone on too long, I'm not any better than Ethan though I'm the one that kidnapped him, but I had no choice. If I didn't, he would have killed them, and I wouldn't allow that to happen either.

I need a plan to save Dylan that doesn't involve people dying. This feels impossible though unless I ask him for some help. I walk downstairs and leave the apartment. I make my way to the nearby park. It's dark out so I doubt that anyone would be there. So, I waited by the fountain, and just in time he appeared right in front of me.

Alex: Hello there, little bird.

???: The name Sky not Little Bird.

Alex: Nah I like my name better. Now then are you finally going to tell me why you've been following me around.

Sky: I don't really feel like talking today.

Alex: Come little bird tell me, I won't tell anyone else.

Sky: Buy me dinner first, hot stuff.

Alex: Such a flirt.

Sky: Only for you.

Alex: This conversation isn't getting anywhere. I'm just going to go back to Dylan.

Sky: Ah yes, the little boy you kidnapped. How's that going anyways?

I can feel my heart drop, he knows about Dylan. Is that why he's been watching over me all this time. Who else knows? Is he going to take Dylan away from me? I won't let him take away my little brother, he's mine. My blue flames got triggered by my emotions causing some nearby trees to catch fire. The fire department will definitely show up soon, shit what do I do? Before I could even run away, I'm suddenly up in the air.

Sky: Guess we got to go somewhere else to have our little conversation.

Alex: Put me down asshole.

Sky: What, do you have a fear of heights or something?

Alex: I do not.

How did I end up in his arms? This is stupid there's no way a hero would help out a villain. I should just escape while I still can. I ignite my flames and he immediately dropped me. I really did not think this through at all. I turn off my power and my flames immediately get extinguished. I was about to hit the ground, but the little bird grabbed me just in time. He safety landed our bodies onto the ground, and I can tell by the face he's making that he is pissed off.
