In the distant of Inkbound Realm a small state consisting of six cities, nestled between ancient forests and sprawling fields, lay a secret that the world had long forgotten: the power to travel through books. In Inkbound Realm, stories were more than mere tales; they were gateways to other realms and times. The Writer realm city grand library, a towering structure of glass and stone, held the portals to these other worlds. People whispered about the Inkbound Realms, places where the brave could journey through the ink and pages to live the lives of the characters, see through their eyes, and experience history firsthand. But this extraordinary gift came at a cost: to travel, one must first taste death for those who are human . The character of the book will have to be breath in the soul of the human who is continuing his fate. Some people are descendant of those who are bound to roam this Earth forever, some call them demons.

Serena Everhart, a girl destinated to have an extraordinary fate, lived in this enigmatic city. Orphaned at a young age, Serena's life was a tapestry of secrets and heartache. Her mother, a courageous traveler, vanished on a fateful journey through the pages of an ancient manuscript. The whispers in the shadows spoke of betrayal—by no other than Serena's own father however his betrayal was intentional but Serena didn't know. He had once been a figure of hope, a guiding star in the tumultuous sea of her early years, but his true nature was revealed as one of the lords of hell. This dark revelation shattered their family and left Serena with an unwanted gift: immortality, a cruel joke in a world where death was the key to adventure.

The Everhart mansion, a relic of grandeur from a bygone era, stood on the outskirts of Librathel, the capital of Inkbound Realm. What gives this mansion life and purpose are its walls, lined with bookshelves and filled with mystical ancient books stretching from floor to ceiling, each tome a potential portal to another world. This was where Serena had spent a good portion of her childhood, in the company of books and the constant, looming absence of her mother. The mansion was a labyrinth of secrets, with hidden passages and rooms filled with artifacts from the Inkbound Realms. It was a place where stories came alive, where the lines between fiction and reality blurred.

After her mother's disappearance, Serena was taken in by the Hawthornes, a family of celebrated authors who lived in the heart of Librathel. The Hawthorne's home was nothing like Everhart Mansion: it was bright, filled with the laughter of creative minds, and brimming with the lively energy of constant literary creation. They welcomed Serena into their world with open arms, and for a time she found solace in the warmth of their affection. Yet, despite the comfort of her new life, Serena remained restless, haunted by dreams of travel and the mysteries of her past.

The Hawthornes were known throughout Librathel for their storytelling prowess. Evelyn Hawthorne, a master weaver of epic tales, and her husband, Robert, a brilliant historian who brought the past to life with his words, and raised their children in a world of imagination and intellectual curiosity. Serena, though grateful for their kindness, felt like an outsider in their vibrant world. She was a child of the Inkbound Realms, marked by a destiny of a half-bread creature she neither chose nor wanted.

Serena's heart ached with a burning desire to follow in her mother's footsteps. She longed to uncover the truth behind her disappearance, to delve into the Inkbound Realms and find the answers that eluded her in the mortal world. But her immortality was a curse that bound her to the here and now, trapping her in a state of perpetual longing. The rules of the Inkbound Realms were clear: only those who were fully human could freely traverse the pages and live the lives within, for those who could'ent do this due to the nature of their existence as immmortals will need to obtain the authors permission. Serena's father's betrayal had sealed her fate, and she despised him for it.
