The day after their deep dive into the archives, Serena and Lily were assigned to the same dormitory room, much to their delight. The room was spacious, with two large beds, a pair of wooden desks, and a window overlooking the sprawling woods surrounding Crestwood Academy. The warm, golden light of the setting sun cast a cozy glow on the room as they unpacked their belongings.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Lily exclaimed, bouncing onto her bed. "I can't wait to start this adventure with you."

Serena smiled, feeling a sense of relief and excitement. "I agree. It's nice to have someone here who feels like a friend."

As they settled into their new space, Lily brought up the upcoming event that had the entire school buzzing: a party in the woods, a tradition for new students to welcome them to Crestwood Academy. It was known for its bonfires, music, and a chance to socialize outside the confines of the academic setting.

"We have to look our best," Lily declared, rummaging through her closet. "This is our chance to make a great first impression!"

Serena agreed, and they spent the next few hours getting ready. Lily chose a cute, flirty dress with floral patterns that complemented her vibrant red hair and bubbly personality. Meanwhile, Serena opted for something more daring—a sleek, black dress that hugged her curves and highlighted her striking features. It was a bold choice, but she felt confident in it, ready to make a statement.

As they walked to the party together, Lily couldn't help but gush. "Serena, you look absolutely stunning! Everyone's going to be staring at you."

Serena laughed, a little embarrassed but also flattered. "Thanks, Lily. You look amazing too."

The party was in full swing by the time they arrived. Lanterns hung from the trees, casting a warm, inviting light over the clearing. Music filled the air, and students were gathered around the bonfire, chatting and laughing. As Serena and Lily made their way through the crowd, heads turned, and whispers followed them. Serena could feel the eyes on her, but instead of feeling uncomfortable, she relished the attention. A shadow of sadness darkened her happiness as she remember her faithful friends that helped her in the shadow Realm, she didn't know that fate will put them together again.

From across the clearing, Sebastian watched, his jaw tightening as he saw Serena. He couldn't ignore the pang of jealousy that twisted in his chest as he noticed the admiring glances thrown her way. With a determined stride, he made his way through the crowd and intercepted Serena just as she was about to join a group of her new friends.

"Serena, we need to talk," Sebastian said, his tone leaving no room for disagreament.

Surprised, Serena nodded to Lily, who looked concerned but let her go. Sebastian led Serena away from the bonfire, his grip on her arm firm but not harsh.

"What's your problem?" Serena demanded as they reached a quieter spot in the woods.

"My problem?" Sebastian snapped, finally releasing her. "What do you think you're doing, drawing all that attention to yourself?"

Serena's eyes flashed with anger. "I'm just enjoying the party. Why do you care?"

"Because," Sebastian began, struggling to find the right words. "Because this place is dangerous. You don't know who you can trust. Drawing attention to yourself isn't safe."

Serena scoffed. "This is about you being jealous, isn't it? You can't stand the fact that people are interested in me."

"That's not it," Sebastian insisted, his voice rising. "I'm trying to protect you!"
