22 BBY, Month 8
Looking at the people around her, Lilith wanted to get home as soon as possible. The senate meeting caused her to overthink and question what she knew.
She was looking in front of her to see the Jedi staring at her with a gaze she couldn't decipher. Lilith gazed at her Myra and uncle, who spoke with the Jedi master. Damn... can't they hurry it up.
"You're anxious," a voice told her, causing her to turn back to the black-haired female who looked slightly older. Lexi recalled her name as she seemed off. Right away, she noticed how one of her knuckles was bruised compared to the other hand.
"What does it matter to you?" Lilith snaps amusing to build within the brown orbs of the Jedi. Growling at the girl who seemed to be toying with her, Lilith kicked the floor.
"It doesn't; I'm just stating it," Lexi comments, causing her to glare at her, who finally stands up and walks over to some clones.
She watched as she rolled her eyes when she saw she approached them. Lilith didn't understand the relationship between her uncles, clones, and the Jedi.
She was rolling her eyes to see her feet in front of her. She straightened her posture to meet a pair of brown eyes. She gave him an awkward smile when he sat beside her.
Fixing her dress, a hand was placed on hers. Looking at her uncle; his eyes held kindness when looking at her. Nodding her head shyly, she placed it on his arm for comfort. A hand wrapped around her shoulders as the two sat in silence.
"Myra told me you did good," Ellis began, and Lilith could feel his gaze on her. "You will do great things when you're older."
"I want to start doing great things now, uncle," Lilith retorted, moving away to stare at him. She was determined to be something big and make a name for herself. Similar to Senator Organa, Senator Amidala, and Myra.
"It takes determination, effort, and other qualities that you lack," Ellis tells her, causing fire to light up in her eyes. "I've seen you. Yes, you have a voice, but is it what you want?"
Ellis stood up after removing his arm from her shoulder. Her gaze watched the man who stalked to the front to talk to the pilots.
His words came out as harsh, she didn't like it. As much as she loved her uncle, she despised him and how upfront he was to others. A harsh reality or simply belittling others. I want to go home.
Without noticing a body in front of her once more, she looked to meet a pair of brown eyes. Lexi.
"What?"
