"Are you sure this is okay" I ask John as we pack."Bailey it's perfectly fine. I already took the week off and so did Celina, Henry agreed he would fly down there with Abigail for the trip" he reassured me.

I nod and smile a bit. "Okay, right. And you're fine with meeting my ex" I asked. John tensed up a bit. "Honestly, no but if we happen to have to see him then I can handle it, beside we are going so you can see Freya"

He puts his hands in my shoulders and creases them with his thump. I nod again. "She doesn't know we are going does she?" He asked raising an eyebrow and tilting his head. I awkwardly smile "no... but I thought it would be a nice surprise! Besides she's talked non stop about her station, and just Seattle in general, I wanna see what she means"

John chuckles and drops his hands "no you wanna see why she hasn't thought about moving here" I groan. I hate when he sees right through me.

"Okay fine! Maybe but it's something she use to talk about all the time, moving down here to be closer to me, ever since she entered the academy she stopped talking about it John, and I won't lie it hurts that she lives so far"

"I know, I hate that Henry is so far, but she talks to you everyday always keeps you up to date, be lucky she does that. Most kids who leave their parents and home town don't"

"Yeah you're right.. but I need to see her again, the last time I saw her before she came to visit was over a year"

John pulls me into a hug and kisses my cheek. "Well she will appreciate this, along with us bringing Celina, they clicked instantly" I smile and nod.

"Is she coming in the morning?" I asked about Celina. "Yeah she said she was going to come before we left, she said she need one last night in her bed" he let out a chuckle.

I chuckle as well before pulling away kissing his cheek. "I love you" I say. "I love you to, now finish packing and I'll go start dinner" I nod and watch him leave the room.

Tuesday
"Hey Lieutenant" I roll my eyes "Ashley" I smile and face her. "Chief Herrera is here" I nod and follow Ashley out to the main area of the station.

"Chief Herrera" I smile. "Hi Freya, I came to check on things" I nod.

"Everyone is in the lounge" she smiles and walks passed me and I follow behind her. "19!"

"19!" Everyone including me repeats. "All of you have been here less then two years" she starts talking and I walk to stand beside the others.

"Everything is about working for your place and I don't want to hear any bad talk about your new Lieutenant. Or you will be punished by your captains choice"

After a long lecture form Andy she left. Maya is supposed to be back tomorrow night. "And she causes trouble already" I roll my eyes

"Wasn't trying to be princess" I shake my head "does your boyfriend know you flirt with me" I cross my arms. "You're my best friend of course he does"

I laugh and walk out of the room. " Engine 19. Aid car 19. House fire 1923 row row south street" I hear the group groan that stayed in the room. I shake my head and rush down to the trucks.
