A/N: To avoid spoilers (which I think it's already spoiled some things if you read the description, lol) this takes place a short while after The Fourth Closet. Enjoy!!

I don't own FNAF blah blah blah. You know the drill.

Sam Emily stretched as he climbed out of the cab of his semi truck. The wind instantly dried out his throat and ruffled his messy dark brown hair. Last time he'd opened his door humid Arkansas wind had made him sweat.

It'd been a while since he stopped in Utah...

He'd come a long way, and there was a long way to go, but his rumbling stomach didn't seem to care. So his boots crunched the gravel in the parking lot of a no name diner. Cars and trucks pulled in and out, tourists and other truckers, maybe even a couple locals.

Inside the air smelled like old grease, hanging heavy as light smoke danced by the few, shaded windows. It was standing room only and so, so loud. Sam wasn't a fan of dark tight spaces. He even made sure to keep some light on in his truck at night. But the laughter, the smell of stale sweat took him back to tight, dark spaces.

He tugged at the neck of his plaid shirt, waiting impatiently. He didn't need to start thinking right now.

Maybe it was being back in Utah. Maybe the sounds, the small space.

The yellow suit-

He blinked, seeing a man in a big yellow hoodie.

He let out his breath.

"Hey!" A woman said behind him, "Are you orderin' or what? "

He looked ahead and saw the path to the counter was open.

He mumbled an apology and stepped up. Quickly scanning the menu he asked for the first burger he saw. Bacon burger, fries, and a coke.

"Here or to go?"

"To go, please."

He shuffled off to the second line- people waiting for their food.

Shifting. Looking around for a payphone. Everyone probably thought he was planning to rob the place. His mother worried during the long hauls when he didn't call. Of course she tried to give him space, but isn't any good mother a little suffocating at times? And she was good. Her face was etched in lines of grief and worry, but she always had a smile for him.

They called him from the desk, his food jumbled into a greasy brown sack and his coke already sweating.

He marched for the door. Maybe he'd eat at the tables outside. A few were taken but most people tried to get in from the dusty air.

He pushed the door opened the bell tinkling goodbye.

He scanned the tables. But something made him stop.

There was a couple at one of the tables, around his age. A guy in a white shirt, his back to the diner door, head bent as he wrote on a notepad. But the woman was what stopped him. She had dark brown hair blowing in the wind, wearing a purple dress and a light button up.

Her face... Something about her looked familiar.

Then she looked up. Her brown eyes, pale, heart shaped face.

She looked like...

Like a grown up...

Ice shot through his spine. Their gazes held.

His father's deranged voice clawed out from his memories, sputtering around his brain. Raving, frantic-

"She's okay! My Charlie- she's in here!" He held out a cheap ragdoll to his wife, eyes red as tears streamed down his grinning face.

Sammy's mother shouted "HENRY! STOP IT!" She shook her head and sobbed, " She's gone! You can't keep- you can't do this to us! I'm calling Jen!"

As she turned, Henry saw Sammy, hidden in the doorway, frozen. Terrified. His father lunged, shoving the doll out, "Sammy! She's here, Sammy! She's okay-!"

"LEAVE HIM ALONE! STOP IT! STOP-"

Sam blinked, the girl in front of him not looking away.

Her brows pulled together, head slightly tilting. It only made her look more like his sister.

He pulled himself away, marching back to his truck.

He didn't let himself look back as he fumbled with the ignition. He pulled onto the highway, forgetting his food, determined to get out of Utah as soon as possible. He sped passed the turn off for 'Hurricane, Utah'.

He didn't let himself look up at the pictures on his dashboard, at the only one he got of him and his sister before his mother threw them out. A picture of them, arms around each other, sitting in a booth at Fredbear's Family Diner. Now, the diner was abandoned, probably torn down. Her grave was probably just as barren, next to their father's. Forgotten by all but one.

I miss you, Charlie.

This was just a random scene that popped in my head. I kind of want to hear more about Sammy, but I also think it's better that he steers clear of Afton, lol! (In canon anyway. I'd like to write more about him. Would you guys like to see more from him? Let me know!)

What did you guys think of the Fourth Closet? Was it great or not too great? Did Charlie and friends get a good send off? Thanks so much for reading!!

Stay safe, be kind, and have a wonderful day!!
