Chapter 1: Frozen Throne
Taehyung, the King of Winter, sat upon his throne, his piercing gaze surveying the frozen landscape beyond the palace windows. His heart, once full of warmth and life, had frozen over a decade ago, encased in a shell of ice and snow.
The kingdom of Eldrid had suffered alongside its king, trapped in a perpetual winter that seemed to have no end. The people of Eldrid whispered of a curse, one that only the king's true love could break.
Yn, a young woman with hair as black as the night and eyes that shone like the stars, arrived at the palace, seeking refuge from the harsh winter. Her presence was a spark of light in the dark, frozen world, and Taehyung felt a flicker of interest, a sensation he thought had long been extinguished.
As Yn approached the throne, her eyes locked onto the king's, and for a moment, the ice around his heart seemed to crack, ever so slightly.
