The figure was daunting really, something you would expect to come popping out of a reality show, broad shoulders that was anything but slumped. A ragged mess of midnight hair sat on his head. It was short hair, that of a man's. It looked as if he had refused to brush it instead running his fingers through it.
We want to run our fingers through it as well....
Purred my wolf tautly. I absolutely agreed. One small problem. He was alpha. His whole attire screamed at me to run. Body guards lined the walls and the small old lady had her head bowed. I wanted to run but before I could dream more he turned around. I jumped startled suddenly when the forest green eyes met my own. He seemed a bit taken back for my appearance, his eyes raking my body, following my slummed form, cut closed, beat and bruised body all the way down. A look of pity too captured his eyes. For once I didn't want pity though.
During my beatings that was all that I had ever wanted. Pity. And now that I had it I was sickend.this man this stranger shouldn't have to interrupt whatever the hell he was doing to come tend to what in his eyes a peasant.
"I’m very sorry alpha" I spoke "I didn't mean to cross into your land I was a little....." I struggled to find the right word my voice still shaking in fear. "Caught up?" it sounded as if to be a question.
"What?" oh dear god his voice made me finch. It was filled with raw power.
His eyes softened filled with an unreadable look. "Come here child let me look at you."
I found it in me to scowl. :"I’m not a child." I pouted angrily.
He laughed his deep chuck filling the air. Oh my god. Kill. Me. now. I wanted to jump his bones. Head out of the gutter Katherine I mentally scolded myself. Stepping forward into his arms reach I waited almost as if waiting for him to leap out and hit me. But it didn't come. Instead I felt a steady hand softly grab my own and upturn my wrist.
"No it can’t be you!" his eye flew to my own his voice laced with raw emotion and his eyes filled to the brim with shock, wonder, and awe. "All this time and you were so close."
One of his unmoving brick like friends stepped forward. "Sire who?"
"Her" he stated almost to himself, "she’s the fated.
".........SAY WHAT?"
