[Reader's POV]

There he was, the famous Snow Villiers. Just about to become an adult, turning 18. I watched him grow up, I was there alone, no friends or family. Just hope to somehow be with Snow. He hardly noticed me no matter how hard I tried. All he wanted was to be with Serah, little Serah Farron. How could I have been so blind to his love? I just wanted to apologize to him before... before he grew up.

"Snow! Umm Snow Villiers?" I called out to him. He looked up as I jogged to him. "I'm, I'm sorry. I know you never noticed me, and this doesn't make sense, but I'm sorry." I nodded politely to excuse myself from his friends. I walked away with a tear rolling down my cheek. I tried to smile, so I looked back at him. He always had a way of making me happy...

[Snow's POV]

That was strange... I thought. Why would a random girl, who appeared to be at least a year younger than me, apologize with no explanation?

I wanted to pursue her, intrigued by how mysterious she was. She was almost cryptic. My group of friends who followed me every where wouldn't let me through. I watched as she slowly walked away; she suddenly turned around to reveal tears streaming down her face. She smiled at me, almost...like I made her happy. Who was she?

"Wait! Come back! Who are you!?" I shouted over my obnoxious friends. She turned with a shocked look on her face. I knew she had heard me. "Please tell me who you are!" She quickly walked away, perhaps in fear of ruining the future. "Damn!" I sighed. My friends continued to surround me, talking over one another about me becoming an adult.

{Macho timeskip!}

[Reader's POV]

It's my turn to become an adult. Remembering Snow, I quickly lost my mood. I wasn't excited. I was fearful that he'd try to find me, ruin his chances with Serah. I couldn't bring that upon him. I was too concerned about his own happiness, I feared my own.

{Timeskip!}

I walked along the shore of Bodhum. All that time spent with the kids at the orphanage, wasted to become a civilian. I felt damn near useless. Not even pretty enough to know someone had a crush on me. I quietly hummed a tune I'd heard once, but never forgotten in my youth. I decided to stop by a shop to grab a drink. Sitting down at the bar, a girl named Lebreau offered me a drink. Coincidentally, I had sat down next to Snow. I heard him celebrating another N.O.R.A. win. I dared to look over at him and get caught.

"Snow?" Lebreau coughed. "Uhh you might have an admirer!" She joked. I felt my face turn eight shades of dark, crimson red. I looked into my drink, praying she didn't mean me. "No need to be shy, not like he's caught anyone else's eye!" Lebreau laughed. I still looked away.

[Snow's POV]

It was her! The girl from the orphanage! I waited years, established N.O.R.A., and prayed she'd arrive. I have to know her. I watched her entire face blush.

"Hey, you're actually a lot cuter now!" I laughed. Shit, did I sound like an ass?! "I mean, not that you weren't cute, I just didn't know you then or I guess now..." I trailed off. We were both blushing as Gadot and Lebreau laughed at me. "Hey, shut up!" I smiled at her as I finished my drink.

"Do you want to hang out?" I blurted out. She looked at me, confusion in her eyes. She looked so beautiful, it was unrealistic.

[Reader's POV]

He looked at me with crystal blue eyes that seemed to swallow his fears. I was stunned by how attractive he had become since we last met.

"Do you want to hang out?" He questioned. I must have looked confused because he added, "Just to catchup, you know?" I anxiously accepted. He paid for both of our drinks, even though I insisted to pay for my own. We walked along the shore of the beach, watching the passing stars. We sat and talked for hours, although it was mostly him.
