[Reader's POV]

I knew Snow has a thing for my outfit, I saw it in his eyes when I left the bathroom. As I jogged along the coast line, two familiar figures laid on the edge of it. Coming closer, I recognized Lightning and Serah, my boyfriend ex and her scary sister. Try as I might, I avoided eye contact and tried to stay away from them.

"What are you doing here?" Lightning's harsh tone made me jump. I stood there wide eyed, speechless. I opened my mouth, searching for the answer that wouldn't get me killed. "Well? Can't you see that SOME of us don't take to stealing from others. Especially moments, so if you could..."

"I was just jogging...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt..." I managed to spit out quietly. She turned to glare at me, and stood up. With anger building between us, she wakes right up to me. Serah watched behind her, keeping a smirk plastered on her face.
"Like hell you were. You're stalking Serah for him, aren't you?" She mocked me, spitting in my face. I glared at her, wiping the spit off.

"Heh, yup. That's how I like spending my time, jogging all the way over here to stalk your sister." I scoffed. No way was I letting Lightning get to me. I was terrified, but that didn't keep me from standing up for myself. "Now if you don't mind," I turned on my heel, "I'll be jogging away from the crazy."

As soon as I lifted my foot to leave, she grabbed my wrist. "I don't think we're done here. Right, Serah?" Lightning remained harsh, looking towards her little sister. "Now, following kindly, without making a scene, and we won't hurt you too bad."

"You won't. Don't speak for me, she's gonna pay for killing what Snow and I had." Serah hissed, giving me a dirty look. "You dress like a home-wrecker, too. Slut..." She mumbled, causing Lightning to laugh obnoxiously.

"Oh come on. That wasn't my fault!" I started raising my voice, making a scene if you will. "Let me go! I haven't done anything wrong!" I tried fighting her death grip on my arm to no avail.

"I warned you, you have two seconds, calm down or else!" They jerked me around, off into an alley that seemed abandoned.

"Light, this looks good. How about we uhh..." she pulled out a knife, tracing my jaw life with it. "Teach her a lesson?" There was a psychotic grin that followed her words.

"Oh, I'm sure she'd love that!" Lightning replied with hatred burning pure. I watched as they whispered back and forth.

"Lightning, this isn't like you! This goes against everything you believe in!" I pled to her, hoping to reach done kind of humanity left in her.

"Ha! Like you know anything about me." Her words were ice cold, giving me chills. Was she really ready to hurt me so desperately for her sister?

"I know you work with the Guardian Corps. I know that you believe in justice. I know this isn't you, please remember!" I shrieked. Why, why did I go for a jog?

[Snow's POV]

(Y/n) was gone longer than I thought. It didn't make me nervous until I thought about the possibility of her being kidnapped. She was beautiful, wearing a suggestive outfit, and jogging, by herself. I was such an inconsiderate person! Why didn't I think that it was possible for her to get taken away from me?!

I rushed off to the beach, looking for footprints to follow. Luckily, she has traveled near the water, but not near enough for the water to wash them away. I trotted along the same path. Then there were two prints, and a third. I glared, quickly realizing the possibility of it being Lightning and Serah, I just didn't think they'd go that far with it.

I ran farther into the city, shouting (y/n)'s name. There wasn't a response for most of the time I was telling. "(Y/n)! Are you here!?"

"Snow?! Is that you?" I finally heard a reply. My heart jumped, leaping into my throat.

"Yeah, babe! Where are you?" I shouted in reply, but again to no avail. Frantically searching every alley, building, and corner, I was losing hope. "Babe! (Y/n)!" I tried again, and on the verge of tears.

"Help! They-they went to get more weapons! I'm in an alley!" Her pleas hurt me, but I pushed on for her, searching every alley I passed.

"(Y/n)!" I saw her, cut and bloodied. Her wounds were fresh, and it sounded like the attackers were returning. "Shh, come on..." I lifted her bridal style, rushing her out of the hidden alley. "Who did this?"

Her mouth opened, "It was us, Snow. Did you forget about us so soon?" Lightning's laugh followed us, resulting in (y/n) cringing. Her (h/l) hair was matted with blood, her clothing torn. "Where are you taking our toy? We weren't done!" She shouted at me again, Serah tried chasing us.

"Back off, or you'll regret it, you psychos!" I growled, protecting my sweetheart was the only thing on my mind. Her hands pressed against my chest though they were bound by rope of some sort. I hurried us to my home, but quickly changed my mind to taking us to the N.O.R.A. base. It was farther, but safer.

"Ooohh, big, scary Snow!" Serah shot back in a vain attempt to hurt me. "So macho, protective even! Too bad that'll change when he loves on to the next."

"S-snow...I-it hurts..so...much..." My precious girl cried. I couldn't comfort her with the psychos, so after reaching the base, I set her down.

"Shh, you're okay...you're in good hands now, and that's gotta count for something! Just trust them, they'll get you patched up." I gave her hands a tight squeeze, trying to express my love for her. Her expression just faded as she fainted in my arms. "It's the blood loss, we need to help her now."

"Oooh Snnooooow~!" The annoying voice called out again. "We'll come in if you don't come out!" I complied, ready to distract the women as they fixed my baby.

"What is it? Can't you see that you've hurt her enough?" I stared at them in disbelief. Their expressions like one studied mine.

"Hmmm I don't think so." Lightning smiled.

"Listen, you're going to break up with her. Then, we're getting back together. After that, you're marrying me. In that order, or..." she hesitated, glancing down at the ground, add if questioning her humanity. "We'll kill her. That will be that, you've got 48 hours. Make 'em count, pretty boy." Without another word, that strut off in sync. What the hell happened to them? That wasn't anything like them, in fact...I want even sure if they were real.

I shook my head, ignoring the psychotic break and ensuring that (y/n) was okay. "She'll be fine in a week or so. That was a lot of blood though, what happened to her?" Our medic specialist questioned me. In all honesty, I had no idea. I just walked in on a horrible scene, with no context. She was out cold, no one to turn to but the doctor.

"She was attacked...they got her pretty bad. I'm scared for her..." I whispered with distraught layering my voice. This wasn't going to end well at all. "Have you seen Hope?"

"I'm right here, Snow. Is she okay?" His concerned voice made me jump. Enough happened tonight, and I just wanted it to be over.

"One week, we'll know then..." I mumbled, holding her hand. She was bruised all over, had cuts marking where clothing seemed to end our begin. I wasn't sure of what this attack accomplished, but hell I was fearing for her life.
