The Next Morning

The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow over the room. Jungkook stirred, slowly waking up to the warmth of Taehyung's embrace. He blinked a few times, adjusting to the light, and realised how closely they were still entangled. Taehyung's arm was draped over his waist, and their legs were intertwined.

Jungkook felt a rush of warmth and contentment, savouring the moment. He gently tried to untangle himself without waking Taehyung, but Taehyung's grip tightened around him, pulling him closer.

"Mmm, don't go" Taehyung mumbles.

Jungkook flushed bright red but chuckled and again tried to untangle himself from Taehyung's embrace, " Taehyung... It's morning"

Taehyung shook his head and pulled jungkook closer, " Nuuu~ I'm still sleepy"

Jungkook chuckled, " then you sleep, let me get up, I have to go and help mom in the kitchen"

Taehyung whined and tightened his grip, " She'll make the breakfast herself. I want you to stay... you're warm" Taehyung snuggled more into Jungkook's neck

Jungkook felt his heart flutter at Taehyung's words, the warmth of Taehyung's body pressed against his own making it hard to resist. He bit his lip, trying to keep the growing smile off his face.

"Taehyung," Jungkook whispered, his voice gentle yet firm, "I really have to get up. Mom's probably already started breakfast."

Taehyung let out a soft, playful groan, burying his face deeper into Jungkook's neck. "But you're so warm, and you smell good... Can't we just stay like this for a bit longer?"

Jungkook blushed even deeper, feeling the heat rise to his cheeks. He was torn between wanting to stay in this cozy, intimate moment and knowing he had responsibilities waiting for him downstairs.

"Just five more minutes," Taehyung murmured, his voice filled with a mix of sleepiness and sincerity. He tightened his arms around Jungkook, as if letting go wasn't an option.

Jungkook sighed softly, giving in to the warmth and comfort of Taehyung's embrace. "Alright... five more minutes," he whispered, closing his eyes and allowing himself to enjoy the moment. The feeling of Taehyung's breath against his neck, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat—it was all so soothing.

As they lay there, the world outside seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in their little bubble of warmth and contentment.

After almost 20 minutes, Jungkook finally managed to wriggle free from Taehyung's hold, much to Taehyung's sleepy dismay. With a soft laugh, Jungkook slipped out of bed and made his way to the bathroom, his footsteps light on the floor.

Taehyung sat up slowly, rubbing his eyes and yawning, still pouting. He watched Jungkook disappear into the bathroom, feeling the warmth of their shared embrace start to fade. He stretched, flopping back onto the bed with a groan, the sheets cool and uninviting without Jungkook in them.

As the sound of running water filled the room, Taehyung couldn't help but smile to himself, thinking about how natural it felt to wake up next to Jungkook. Even though they were still getting used to each other, there was a comfort in their morning routine that Taehyung found himself craving more and more each day.

He lay there, staring at the ceiling, a soft smile on his lips, waiting for Jungkook to come out so they could start their day together.

As Jungkook disappeared into the bathroom, Taehyung sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing his eyes and yawning, still not fully awake. He glanced at the closed bathroom door and smiled to himself, thinking about how much his life had changed in just a few short weeks. The warmth he felt when he was with Jungkook, the comfort of waking up next to him—it was all new, but it felt right.
