The plane landed smoothly, and Jungkook's excitement hit him like a wave. They were finally in Paris. He leaned closer to the window, trying to catch a glimpse of the city. Taehyung, on the other hand, stretched and casually grabbed their bags from the overhead compartment.
As they walked through the terminal, Jungkook was overwhelmed by the buzzing crowd and the mix of languages around them. He stuck close to Taehyung, who walked with ease, his confident strides making it easy to follow.
"Wow," Jungkook murmured, looking around in awe. "We're really here."
Taehyung smiled and reached for his hand. "We are. How does it feel?"
"Unreal," Jungkook replied, his eyes sparkling. "It's like a dream."
"Wait until you see the rest," Taehyung said with a small grin as he guided Jungkook toward the baggage claim.
After grabbing their luggage, they stepped outside the airport. The cool evening air hit them, carrying the smell of coffee and pastries. Jungkook took a deep breath, letting the moment sink in.
"It smells so good out here," he said, looking around with wide eyes.
Taehyung grinned. "Wait until you actually taste the food."
They flagged down a taxi, and soon they were driving into the heart of Paris. Jungkook was glued to the window, pointing out everything that caught his eye—the cafés with tiny tables outside, the grand old buildings, and the glowing lights of the city.
"Is that the Seine?" Jungkook asked, pointing to the shimmering river.
"It is," Taehyung said, smiling at his enthusiasm. "And that's Notre-Dame over there."
Jungkook's jaw dropped. "This is amazing. It's even better than I imagined."
Taehyung leaned back in his seat, watching Jungkook with a fond expression. "I think I like seeing Paris through your eyes more than anything."
Jungkook turned to Taehyung with slightly flushed cheeks, still excited.
"you know? I have this whole folder in my drafts that have drafts of stories based in Paris."
Taehyung's eyebrows lifted in interest as a soft smile spread across his face. "Really? A whole folder? How many drafts are we talking about?"
Jungkook turned his gaze back to the window, his cheeks still tinted pink. "A lot. Like... maybe twenty? I've always been fascinated by Paris—the streets, the art, the food, the history. It just feels so magical."
Taehyung chuckled. "Twenty drafts? That's impressive. You've practically been living here in your imagination."
Jungkook smiled shyly. "Yeah, but this... this is different. It's not just how I imagined it—it's better. I can already feel so much inspiration just from looking at the city."
Taehyung leaned closer, resting his elbow on the armrest between them. "So, what kind of stories? Romance? Mystery? Something completely out of the box?"
"Mostly romance," Jungkook admitted with a small laugh. "I mean, Paris is the city of love, right? It's hard not to imagine all kinds of romantic stories unfolding here."
Taehyung grinned, tilting his head slightly. "And in those stories... is there someone like me?"
Jungkook glanced at him, his eyes wide for a moment before he laughed nervously, brushing his hair behind his ear. "Maybe."
Taehyung chuckled, the sound deep and warm. "Well, now you've got the real deal to inspire you. Write me into one of those stories, will you?"
Jungkook's gaze softened as he nodded. "Maybe I already have."
