The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and there is no rain in sight, so let's go for a ride. As it is the day of the trip, The students are on the bus and are heading to their rocky location in Harvard, near the border between Adenville and Novard. Miss Rose is their coordinator for the trip.

Sophie, Bella, and Gia were sitting together, and Nick, Miles, and Nathan were sitting together. Sophie looked outside and admired the view of nature made by God.

"Those trees, the earth, the flower, and nature are truly the beauty of God's creation," Sophie said she was fascinated by the view.

"I know," Bella said, agreeing with Sophie. "So Bella?" Phil said as he popped up from behind them.

"Aaah!!!! Oh my God, Phil, you scared me." Bella said she was annoyed. "Do you guys think we will be able to see Noverd from there?" Phil asked.

"Maybe we will check it out," Brian said as he was sitting right beside Phil.

"I don't think we can. You must get permission first." Sophie implied.

"Okay," Brian said, disappointed.
After some time, Nick started a conversation. "So, Nathan, have you ever been on a trip before?" Nick asked. Miles looked at Nick with a confused face.

"No, this is my first trip," Nathan replied expressionlessly while looking outside the window.

"You just don't know what to talk about," Miles whispered expressionlessly to Nick. "You're not helping," Nick whispered back. Then Miles tried to talk to him.

"So, Nathan, can you tell us what your previous school was like?" Miles asked expressionlessly. "My old school was the Navy school and was very disciplined," Nathan replied.

"Oh, okay. Did you have friends?" Nick asked. Nathan didn't reply. "Sorry." Nick apologized for asking.

"It's fine. I just don't want to talk about it." Nathan said. "Sorry, we asked." Miles also apologized.

"No, it's fine. Thanks for caring, though." Nathan said with a little smile. "You are welcome." Miles and Nick said it happily.

Bella was looking at them from her seat and was happy that Nathan was getting along. After some time, the bus stopped, and Miss Rose told everyone that they had arrived. Sophie and the others got off the bus. The view was magnificent, and the weather was perfect. The bus stopped in front of the desert part of Harvard, but a little bit forward there was a forest, and after the forest was the border to Novard. Then the students started to line up in front of the bus. Miss Rose came up to them.

"Alright, everyone, I will be calling names to know who will be your partner for this trip. When you get your partner, you should head on and look for any stones you can find." Miss Rose said. "Yes ma'am." Every student said.

"Okay, so we have........ BRIAN and MILES, NICK and NATHAN, FAITH and LUCY, BELLA and PHIL, GIA AND SOPHIE, MARY AND ALEX................." Miss Rose was announcing the pairs for the project.

After 2 minutes, the students were paired up.

"Alright, you have 1 hour to find the stone, and I will report back right here. Okay, so you can start." Miss Rose said.
The students then started going around in different places and looking for stones or rocks.

"Alright, Phil, you go there, and I will check there," Bella said, pointing in a particular direction. She didn't hear any reply.

"Phil, what did I just..." She stopped as she saw Phil lying on the ground. "Phil!!" She said angrily. "Coming Bella I am feeling sleepy," Phil said lazily.

"Phil, this is no time for naps." She said it angrily, irritated, and frustrated. "OK, ok, I am coming," Phil said as he got up. Bella sighs, "Some partner I got."

The people that first reached the forest area were Miles and Brian.

"Um, Miles?" Brian said nervously as he looked around in the forest. "What?" Miles said while looking at the ground. He was focused on finding an appropriate stone.

"You don't suppose there are reptiles here, do you?" Brian asked, scared. "Don't be ridiculous; this is a reserved forest; there are no wild animals," Miles replied a little angrily while looking at the ground for stones.

"Well, I just wanted to be sure, because you know it's better to be safe than............."He stopped as he saw Miles glaring at him. "......sorry."

Miles sighs, "Just keep looking for any stone or rock." He said and continued.

After a few minutes, Lucy and Faith also entered the area.

"Faith!!!!" Lucy shouted. "WHAT!" Faith said, as she was. frightened by the shout.

"DON'T.........MOVE..........A MUSCLE." Lucy said it with a serious expression. Faith just stood there, frozen, as Lucy approached her slowly. Lucy then grabbed something from Faith's shirt.

"You almost munched this poor ladybird," Lucy implied as a bug crawled on her hand from Faith's shirt. "Are you serious???? You scared me." Faith said, annoyed.

"What? You know I love insects." Lucy implied as she patted the insect. Faith sighs while putting her hand on her forehead.

Somewhere on the other side of the forest, Nick and Nathan were both looking around for the rocks as everyone else, but suddenly Nick stopped as he heard something.

"Hey, Nathan, did you hear that?" Nick asked while looking in a particular direction. "What?" Nathan asked.

"It sounds like a stream," Nick said as he moved in the direction of the sound. Nathan also listens and hears it. "Yeah, you are right," Nathan said gently. They both followed the sound and found the stream.

"Wow, we can find some rocks here." Nick implied. "We should be able to," Nathan said.

They both start to search for the rocks. A few meters away from the stream were Sophie and Gia. Sophie walked around, as did Gia, but they didn't find anything.

"Ah, nothing," Sophie said this while being frustrated.

"I'll check over there," Gia said as she pointed in a direction and headed over there.

As Gia left, Sophie looked for stones. A sudden, mysterious siren-type voice rang into Sophie's ears. She curiously got up to see what caused it, but there was nothing. She went back to look for stones, and she then heard it again. This time, without hesitation, she followed the sound. She was led to one particular spot only to find a mini-stream waterfall, but she could still hear the voices.

"Sophie!" Gia shouted from the back. Sophie turned around to see Gia running towards her.n"Sophie, what are you doing here??" Gia asked while catching her breath.

"Did you hear that too?" Sophie asked curiously as she turned to the waterfall. "Hear what?" Gia asked, worried.

"There is a voice coming from the waterfall." Sophie implied while pointing at the waterfall.

Gia's face turned expressionless with a little bit of anger. "Sophie, I don't hear anything. Come on, let's go; it can be dangerous." Gia said as she took Sophie's hand and started walking.

As they were about to leave, Sophie heard the voice again. She turned around and ran to the waterfall while jumping over the huge rocks in the river. As she reached the waterfall, she saw a black tunnel behind the waterfall. It seemed like a small cave, and she still heard the voices coming from in there. Gia was just standing at her spot, looking at Sophie, and waiting with a worried face for Sophie to come back.

Sophie entered the cave and walked 5 feet in when the sound of the voices got louder and louder as she kept going and suddenly stopped. Sophie saw a purple, ominous light that was shone by a particular purple stone that was sitting on a big rock. Sophie slowly approaches the stone and moves her hand towards it as she gets the feeling to pick it up.

She hesitated at first but got the urge to touch it. As she touched the stone and picked it up for like a second, she suddenly had this scenario of her roaming in space and falling into a wormhole (like in her dream). After that one second, a lighting flash occurred, causing Sophie to blow out of the cave and land on the ground where Gia was. Sophie could hear the running footsteps of Gia coming close to her and the echoes of Gia's voice calling out her name. Sophie's mind then blacked out.
